Peculiar interest goes to supporting and promoting midwifery services.
Midwifery care is essential to empower all involved in the perinatal experience.
To honour the memory of Sharon K. Evans - midwife, advocator and educator - a scholarship was created.
Focus is on giving support to existing and emerging perinatal service providers, education and networking.
The house can offer practical support as well as host events - temporarily or more permanently - to projects perinatal caregivers or their clients organise or would like to learn more about. To this aim rooms or specific infrastructure (video projector, ...) can be made available.
Accomodation to studying or traveling midwives, doulas and apprentices can be made available.

"The Midwives" by Carla Golembe
The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) seeks to strengthen
member associations and to advance the profession of midwifery globally by
promoting autonomous midwives as the most appropriate caregivers for childbearing women
and in keeping birth normal, in order to enhance the reproductive health of women,
and the health of their newborn and their families.
