In the past week or so, the Smash Ultimate modder GhostsSoup revealed himself as SonicBrawler/Mizumi. Ghost has been a member of the P*rpleEnjoyers for a long time. Initially, many of us supported him, believing that he had changed as a person for the better. However, we have now changed our decision. Thanks to the efforts of Mayamia and another modder who wishes to remain anonymous, we have discovered that Ghost is still lying about his actions as SonicBrawler/Mizumi and we cannot endorse him.

 

We encourage everyone to read the "Mizumi is an Unsafe Member of the Community" document explaining the allegations against Ghost from 2019. The relevant information is about the first testimony from NebulaHearts, in which she relays her story of being manipulated by Ghost, who was 18 years old at the time, into sending him nude photographs. NebulaHearts says she was 14 years old at the time and that the event occured in January of 2016.

 

If you read Ghost's "Final Message", he describes the same event, confirming that NebulaHearts was 14 but instead claiming that he was 17 years old. Attached is a screenshot of the paragraph in case he deletes it.

 

This is an obvious conflict of information. In private messages, Ghost has maintained that he was 17 years old and that the events occured 11 years ago. Ghost is currently 28 years old. He has confirmed this in the P*rpleEnjoyers discord, celebrating on November 2nd. Attached is one example. This would mean he would be 19 years old in January of 2016.

 

Additionally, several tweets from the NebulaHearts twitter account suggest that her birthday is March 14th and that she would indeed be 14 years old in January of 2016. Said tweets are linked here:

Lastly, Ghost's original response from 2019, which can be found in the Additional Evidence section of the document linked above. In it, he confirms that the events occured "3 years ago," which would be 2016.

 

All of this evidence points to the fact that Ghost lied in the past about his age, claiming he was 18 years old, and is continuing to lie, now saying he was 17 years old, and that the truth is that he was 19 years old when he manipulated a 14 year old into sending him nude photographs.

 

If Ghost's claim about being 17 were to be believed, against all the evidence pointing to January of 2016, this would place the victim at 12 or 13, which is also unexcusable.

 

Ghost has been removed from the P*rpleEnjoyers and we will not support him any longer.

 

A member of our community put out a statement contrary to this one before this information was discovered. They have since changed their mind about supporting Ghost and are on board with our current decision. If any of you know which individual this refers to, please do not target or harass them, as they were lied to by Ghost and only tried to act with good intentions.
