The Evolution Revolution For the Quest for Happiness

POH

Exactly why is "happily ever after" always portrayed because the guy receiving the girl or vice versa? Despite the insistence of this ending in your popular culture, in person it isn't always meant to be. Yet way too many are going to sacrifice a lot of making it so or maintain the illusion. Like with numerous other idealizations, this concept serves just to get people to frustrated and unhappy when their story is one thing else entirely.

Pursuit of Happiness

The Asian woman isn't big-breasted. Many African women are 'traditionally' built. And a lot in the world's population is naturally dark-haired. Yet American culture has dictated that to be considered attractive and lovable, one must have large breasts, a slim build and blond hair: Barbie. I cannot quote statistics towards you -- just check around. Reality begs to differ.

And the tastes our female human population is designed to believe they may be hopeless about the desirability scale and believing that if they don't turn themselves into this preposterous ideal they'll don't know love or success, or perhaps be 'happy.' It's grotesque -- and benefits exactly the advertising media and those who peddle these products one 'must' need to attain this contrived goal. Even Dove's so-called Real Beauty campaign glamorizes the girls it celebrates instead of celebrating the sweetness that is the woman that knows her authentic self -- and allows it to shine.

So too the 'pursuit of happiness' -- a disorder dictated inside our very Constitution -- is a set-up for disappointment. What were our Founding Fathers thinking whenever they coined a real phrase and perpetrated this kind of concept? Perhaps they recognized that by creating this carrot-on-a-stick enticement they will create a society of rats with a treadmill, perpetually pursuing an unattainable goal, yet performing the tasks of excellent little workers in the machine of Commerce.

The complete concept of 'happiness' as being a goal is fallacy. Happiness will be an choice, made by one filled with Gratitude, or random and conditional: a sense that arises occasionally caused by a couple of circumstances from the environment.

The issue is, we have been convinced that satisfaction, like love, originates from the outside in, once the fact is just the opposite: When we depend upon others for love we will continually be lacking. Along with the same is true when we rely upon circumstances for satisfaction.
