WHY SALARY ISN’T ALWAYS EVERYTHING?

Working in a professional and high paying company is a dream of every individual. But there are things that we need to consider besides money. Things, some of which we are already aware of and things that we consciously or unconsciously ignore. Factors that should play an important role while opting for a job can be categorized into two groups:

1. Primary factors.
2. Secondary factors.

Primary factors:

Most of us know this category better than the women know their husbands. Just to break the ice, here is what we look for in a job:
• Good money, obviously.
• Easy and early review.
• Advanced equipment and private space.
• Time flexibility.
• Work allowances.
• Career growth and professional development.
• A good title and so on.

People can add different things to this list as per their choice. These things are pretty much typical and common. Although people think they get the best if they can find the above things in an employment yet there is so much they forget. This is what’s much more important than anything else. Let’s take a ride to a whole another level.

Secondary factors:

Sometimes we may get paid well enough but that does not mean we have everything we want. Remember, everything comes at a price. Now, what can pay off a person’s salary? A thought, that rarely occurs to any one of us. There is a dynamic and multi-dimensional reality which we need to realize. We get paid to lay off our dreams and desires. You don’t believe this now but you will in a few minutes.

a) The sense of motivation:

Before you go to work, the first thing that should be on your mind is whether you really want to do this or not. Always opt for something you endear, you are good at. It should motivate you, and satisfy you while you are doing it.

b) Never compromise on your personal life:

I always am confused about something that why people get all fussy and irritated with time. Your profession is highly affecting your personal life when you do not get enough time to get along with your family and do stuff that they want to. Never ever compromise on something that will take away all your freedom. What will you do with the money when you do not get to spend it anywhere? Your family needs you, your care, your attention, your time.

c) Career growth:

Excellence never means more money. It involves your grooming, both professionally and ethically. If you think earning more is growing your career, then you are highly mistaken. Learning is a never ending process which means you grow more when you know more. Always negotiate your professional growth with your employer like WeAccountax “online accountants in London” offers every employee to do so.

d) The Bigger cheque is more burden:

I believe you pretty much have an idea of what I’m going to say. Still, I’ll say it either way. If you want to you get paid more, you have to be responsible for more things. Which may sometimes negotiate my own statement, “dig more to discover more”.

e) High Pay scale demands more time and energy:

There is nothing free in this world. You pay for everything you get. I know you are thinking what to pay for money. That’s right! You give your time and energy to earn money. Try to find more peace instead of luxury apartment and cars and stuff.

f) Get some space, explore the word:

We need to earn a living. Likewise, we need to give our mind some break from a patterned life. Don’t get too involved into something that you start feeling like a robot. Be yourself at times. The World is full of beauty, explore it. Admire nature and discover new things.

g) Follow your interests:

Last but not least, try to choose a profession which surrounds your interests and creativity. Aptitude and attitude, house a rare but special phenomenon that states, “Drive your desires with the steering of your thoughts”. Compromising on self-esteem and giving up on your dreams may sometimes compel you to do things you do not want to. Being content with less is a satisfaction in itself.
