  1. Centre square was on Sansa’s team, therefore is a loser. So Robin is a loser.
  2. The Mormonts didn’t compete, so Jorah and Lyanna are both patrons.
  3. We know from Lyanna’s clue that there are 3 losers in the corners. From Robin’s clue, his diagonals are losers or patrons. So while 3 corners have losers, the 4th corner must be a patron. If you attempted to put Bran as the patron, this would mean that Arya and Jon would become losers (based on Sansa’s clue). If Arya and Jon became losers, then their rows can’t be the row with 4 consecutive patrons, as Jon is blocking his row, and we know that Jaime is not a patron in Arya’s row (from Lyanna’s clue). Similarly, row 5 couldn’t have 4 patrons in a row as Cersei is in the middle and Cersei is not a patron (Lyanna’s clue). Row 1 can’t have 4 patrons, because Olenna would become a loser. Row 3 can’t have the 4 patrons either as Robin is blocking the middle. TL;DR Bran can’t be a patron as it would mean that there wouldn’t be a row that could have 4 consecutive patrons. Bran is a loser.
  4. There’s no winner in row 2 (Bran’s clue), but we know Jaime competed (from Lyanna’s clue), so Jaime must be a loser.
  5. Robin tells us his diagonals have 2 patrons and 2 losers. His diagonal with Sansa and Bran now has 2 losers (Sansa and Bran), so Grey Worm must be a patron.
  6. Looking at Robin’s other diagonal, Jorah is a patron and so will be one of the corners (see Step 3 for info on why one corner is a patron). Therefore, Sandor is not the 2nd patron in this diagonal, so Sandor is a loser.
  7. Varys is a patron (from Sandor’s clue).
  8. Jaime is adjacent to a winner, but it’s not Qyburn (from Grey Worm’s clue), and it’s not Olenna as she must be a loser or patron (Robin’s clue), so Tormund is a winner.
  9. We are still looking for a row with 4 consecutive patrons (Jorah’s clue). It can’t be row 1, as there needs to be a spot for winner (either Petyr or Yara – Bran’s clue). It can’t be row 3, which is blocked by Robin. It can’t be row 4, which is blocked by Sandor, and it can’t be row 5, which is blocked by Cersei not being a patron (from Lyanna’s clue). So row 2 has 4 consecutive patrons. Jaime is not one of them, so Arya and Melisandre become patrons.
  10. As Arya is the Stark that didn’t lose, this means that Jon must be a loser (Sansa’s clue).
  11. Row 4 needs a winner (Bran’s clue), and it’s not Edmure (Grey Worm’s clue), so Davos is a winner.
  12. Melisandre can only see 3 winners – these are Tormund, Davos, and she must be able to see a winner in row 1 (either Petyr or Yara – Bran’s clue). We know Cersei competed (Lyanna’s clue), Melisandre can see Cersei, but Melisandre’s 3 winners can’t include Cersei, so Cersei must be a loser.
  13. Cersei tells us she was on a team with her brothers, so Tyrion must be a loser
  14. Row 5 needs a winner (Bran’s clue), it can’t be Theon as he’s a patron or loser (Robin’s clue), so Missandei is a winner.
  15. There’s only one female winner (Davos’ clue), so the Row 1 winner must be Petyr.
  16. Petyr tells us Sansa is the only loser next to him. Yara can’t be a winner (Bran’s clue), so Yara is a patron.
  17. Only 4 women competed (Yara’s clue), we know Cersei, Sansa, and Missandei all competed. So of the three women left – Dany, Brienne, and Olenna, only one is a loser and the other 2 are patrons. There were 16 competitors (Arya’s clue), so there must be 9 patrons in total. So far, we’ve got 7 on the board, so only 2 patrons remain. In other words, the 2 remaining patrons are from the 3 women remaining. If Olenna was a loser, then Theon would become a patron (Lyanna’s clue), along with Dany and Brienne, and there would be too many patrons. So Olenna must be a patron.
  18. If Olenna is a patron, Theon must be a loser.
  19. There’s only one patron left to uncover, and we know it must be female. So the two remaining men in column 5, Qyburn and Edmure, are losers.
  20. Qyburn tells us no loser can see all 4 winners. Brienne can see all 4 winners, and therefore is not a loser, so Brienne must be a patron.
  21. As Brienne is the final patron (Arya’s clue), Dany is a loser.
