Installed on the set of the place Bellecour, the fan zone is the heart of the festive activities of the Euro 2016 in Lyon. Elle accueille les supporters venus de toute l'Europe et les habitants du Grand Lyon, qui peuvent assister gratuitement à la retransmission de chaque rencontre du tournoi sur écran géant, profiter de nombreuses animations et jeux et se restaurer.
During the UEFA Euro 2016, Lyon will receive many fans and visitors from France and Europe as a whole.
To take full advantage of their stay, they may turn to the 350 volunteers recruited by the city of Lyon. Their missions : to provide tourist and practical information on Lyon and its surroundings, guiding them to move in the Metropolis, access to the stadium or the fan zone.
The volunteers are located in 3 points of information :
at the station of la Part Dieu, place Béraudier,
place of the Republic, in the 2nd arrondissement,
close to the metro St John, in the 5th arrondissement.
They are also present in the fan zone, and on routes taken by fans to the Park OL : the stations of public transport in Grange Blanche, Parilly, Vaulx-en-Velin-la-Soie, Décines Grand large or on the car park of the Centre.
The waste collection enhanced
The Metropolis of Lyon provides for a strengthening of the waste collection in the fan area and the surrounding streets, around the train station of la Part Dieu as well as the edge of the Park-OL.
Pour profiter pleinement de leur séjour, ils peuvent se tourner vers les 350 bénévoles recrutés par la Métropole de Lyon. Leurs missions : donner des informations pratiques et touristiques sur Lyon et ses alentours, les guider pour se déplacer dans la Métropole, accéder au stade ou à la fan zone.
Les bénévoles sont situés dans 3 points d'informations :
à la gare de la Part Dieu, place Béraudier,
place de la République, dans le 2e arrondissement,
à proximité du métro St Jean, dans le 5e arrondissement.
Ils sont également présents dans la fan zone et sur les trajets qu'empruntent les supporters pour se rendre au Parc OL : stations de transports en commun de Grange-Blanche, Parilly, Vaulx-en-Velin-la-Soie, Décines Grand Large ou sur le parking relais d'Eurexpo.
La collecte des déchets renforcée
La Métropole de Lyon prévoit un renforcement de la collecte des déchets dans la fan zone et les rues avoisinantes, autour de la gare de la Part Dieu ainsi qu'aux abords du Parc OL.
Un stand et des animations pour sensibiliser les supporters au tri des déchets sont également prévus dans la fan zone.
Super Victor : une mascotte qui vient du Grand Lyon !
Super Victor, la mascotte officielle de la compétition, a été dessinée par la société Zebrand, installée à la Tour de Salvagny. Quant au nom de ce jeune super-héros fan de football, il a été choisi par les internautes suite à un vote organisé sur le site de l'UEFA.

Marseille welcomes the 11 June to 7 July, 6 matches of the Championship of Europe of UEFA. The "Fan Zone" in Marseille is deployed on the Beaches of Prado just a stone's throw from the Stade Velodrome all connected by a "Fan Walk" on the avenue du Prado.The Fan zone is a 2 km walk from the Velodrome
The Fan Zone is a project supported and implemented by each of the ten host cities. Zone official fans, with each Fan Area has a giant screen for the broadcast of matches of the UEFA EURO 2016™, for the duration of the competition.
It has a capacity of 80 000 people who will be able to :
> follow the broadcasting of the matches on a giant screen of 160 m2,
> to share moments of celebration and conviviality, safely, at the edge of the sea.
The Fan Zone will be composed of one part " Area game ", open and accessible to the retransmissions of the 45 matches, and a second "Zone village" welcoming all of the animations from 12h to 20h, everyday. Located close to the Vélodrome stadium, the Fan Zone will be thought of as a place of life and sharing around the values of football.

La Fan Zone est un projet porté et mis en oeuvre par chacune des dix villes-hôtes. Zone officielles de supporters, chaque Fan Zone dispose d’un écran géant permettant la retransmission des matches de l’UEFA EURO 2016™, pendant toute la durée de la compétition.
Elle dispose d’une capacité de 80 000 personnes qui pourront :
> suivre la retransmission des matchs sur un écran géant de 160 m2,
> partager des moments de fête et de convivialité, en toute sécurité, au bord de mer.
La Fan Zone sera ainsi composée d’une partie « Zone match », ouverte et accessible pour les retransmissions des 45 matches, et d’une seconde « Zone village » accueillant toutes les animations de 12h à 20h, tous les jours. Située à proximité du stade Vélodrome, la Fan Zone sera pensée comme un lieu de vie et de partage autour des valeurs du football.
The Nice fan zone
The Fan Zone will be open during the 31 days of the competition.
It will be located in the very heart of the city for two reasons: first, the site’s exceptional setting and, second, its proximity to Cours Saleya, a ‘natural historic fan zone’ in Old Nice.
The Fan Zone will be structured around two structures:
Located in the Albert Ier garden and its open-air theatre, it will be identical to the Nice Jazz Festival, with two giant screens, one with a 77m²/830ft² surface area.
It will be able to accommodate approximately 10,000 fans for each match.
The Fan Zone will be open from 1pm till midnight, at least 15 days out of the total 31, to cover a minimum of 23 of the 51 matches shown on the screens: matches featuring the French national team, those played in Nice, and all matches starting with the quarterfinals.

Il sera situé en plein cœur de la ville, pour deux raisons: d'abord, le site est exceptionnel et, deuxièmement, la proximité du Cours Saleya, un "naturel historique de la fan zone" dans le Vieux Nice.
La Fan Zone sera structuré autour de deux structures:

Situé dans le jardin Albert Ier et de son théâtre en plein air, il sera identique pour le Nice Jazz Festival, avec deux écrans géants, l'une avec un 77m2/830ft2 de la surface.
Il sera en mesure d'accueillir environ 10 000 fans pour chaque match.
La Fan Zone sera ouverte à partir de 1 h jusqu'à minuit, au moins 15 jours sur un total de 31, de couvrir un minimum de 23 51 matches montré sur les écrans: les matchs mettant en vedette l'équipe de france, ceux qui ont joué à Nice, et de tous les matches de départ avec les quarts de finale.
