Respectful Notes – Privacy Policy

Respectful Notes is a practical, privacy-first note taking or notes saving extension that allows to quickly save and manage notes in Chromium based browsers. The extension is designed to prioritize user privacy from the ground up.

Data Collection

• No data is collected. Absolutely nothing.

• No tracking, no analytics, no external connections.

• The extension runs fully offline and does not send or store any data outside the user's device.

Permissions

• The "storage" permission used to save and access notes locally on the device.

• The "tabs" permission used to read the current tab URL only when the user inserts it into a note.

• The "windows" permission used to manage the Prompter, standalone, and reminder windows.
• The "alarms" permission used to schedule and trigger reminders at the time set by the user.

Transparency

All permissions and data usage are fully documented here. If anything changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly to reflect those changes.
