New feature allows you to quickly select how your note should be visible to other users.
Registered users can use now button that is next to the Publish. It allows to choose from three different visibility settings:
- Public - public notes are visible to everyone and are listed on your profile page or tags,
- Hidden - hidden notes can be accessed by everyone, but are not listed on your profile page or tags,
- Private - private notes can only be accessed by you (after logging in) and by other users if you share the secret link with them (and Link sharing is enabled) or use "Share with your contacts" option.
If you want to change default visibility settings for new notes you can do this in Settings -> New notes -> Default settings for new notes -> Access.
Default setting for notes created by anonymous users (not logged in) is Hidden.
