Patent Summary

PATENT (1) The pharmacy pill vial; has remained unchanged for over 60 years; an orange plastic empty tub. Pharmacies use one half trillion a year; a $4billion market. A just issued patent is for sale that could take over that entire market segment. The improved vial serves all the impaired and arthritic from having to dig for a pill at the bottom of a vial. Millions of woman with 'extra long finger nails' will no longer have to go 'spear fishing' for a pill. And 75 million seniors will no longer pour pills onto the palm of their hand and end up spilling half onto the floor.

The invention automatically delivers 1-2 pills directly to a person’s fingertips at the top of the vial. No pharmacy would continue to order the empty orange plastic tub when they could offer patients a vial that automatically delivers a pill to waiting fingetips.  Would Amcor's business of selling millions of empty vials each year be decimated if a competitor offered the ‘self serve’ vial for the same price? One of Amcor’s major product lines would be permanently eliminated from serving that $4billion market for the 20 year life of the patent.

PATENT (2) Blister pill package manufacturing is a $24billion market. Half of these packages are mailed to patients by E-pharma companies. Driving to the pharmacy is fast becoming obsolete. However, powerful pressure roller mail sorters are used in every post office. Millions of mailed pills are crushed in their thin wall vacuum formed plastic bubble packs when they pass through these sorters. A blister pill pack has been invented that completely prevents any pill damage.  Mail sorting rollers cannot damage the pills . The patented molded
blister package is complete in one mold cycle with 400f sterile HDPE. No foil, no paper no adhesive to pollute landfill or watershed and 100% recyclable.

The inclusive marketing guarantee feature of this invention is that it saves an Epharma about $3.00 on every pill order they mail. Since the package is virtually indestructible, it can be mailed safely in a 'flat'envelope. Large envelope ‘flats’ only cost $1.63per once,
MUST be flexible, uniform in thickness, and under 3/4 inch thick. The invention conforms to ALL these requirements. Packages not complying with any one of these USPO regulations start at $4–$5 mail cost. Thus, a package costing $.04 cents could be sold for more than 20 times mfg. cost and still save Epharmas $hundreds of millions per year in shipping costs. Last year, Medicare Part D and employer plans accounted for over 170 million mail-order prescriptions. Mail order Epharma is now over $200billion and growing. This patent has many other covered claims.

One main feature is the blister can be made to be ‘easy open’, ‘child resistant’ or the world’s first ‘CHILD PROOF’ blister preventing 500,000 child poisonings each year. Landmark child safety features ALWAYS result in packaging law changes forcing universal adaptation. It would be advantageous to own these kind of manufacturing and licensing rights and highly detrimental not to. Please review both patents at website:   www.pilldeliver.com
