Earlier in the night, Kendal Rose made her presence known. During the NXT Women's Championship match, Rose came out to attack Fatal Influence, but the numbers game caught up to her. Fallon and Lainey tossed her into the steel steps, severely hurting her arm in the process. Torn between her group and her friend, Jacy confronts the two of them, wondering why they've gone off the deep end. Seeing this as Jacy having picked a side, the two of them leave, allowing a broken Kendal to lay there as Lola Vice pulls off the upset, winning the NXT Women's Championship.
Kendal's match is fourth on the card, giving her enough time to shake off the pain that she'd endured earlier. When her music hits, no one is there to aid her. It seems in such a short time, she was unable to secure any allies in her match against Lainey and Fallon. Thus, a handicap match seems to be the final outcome. The two are able to keep Rose down for most of the match, with tiny bouts of offense shut down by the teamwork and dirty tactics of Fatal Influence. Just when it seems Kendal is down and out, Jacy Jayne's music hits. Taped up and slow to the ring, she slowly circles before hopping onto the apron, extending her hand for a tag; she's Kendal's partner! Tagged in, she easily disposes of Fallon and Lainey, hitting her signature Rolling Encore to pin Lainey and secure the tag victory for her and Kendal Rose. Did we just see Fatal Influence die?
