Iceland says the Atlantic AMOC current
is near collapse. Iceland declared a National Emergency.
The AMOC is a constant looping current
in the Atlantic.
It stirs the warm Caribbean waters
with the cold water from Arctic Ice melt.
The AMOC is responsible for the
Gulf Stream, which keeps the British Isles
warmer in winter, and prevents England's
ports from freezing up, as northern European ports do.
The AMOC stirs nutrients and oxygen
into the Atlantic waters, and from there
feeds and oxygenates the oceans of the world.
If the AMOC shuts down completely,
the North Atlantic Coastline will
enter a new Ice Age.
Ocean Fishing, Species distribution,
Port operations, trade and travel will be
completely disrupted
And the Oceans will die.
What countries rely on the ocean?
All are economically dependent, to varying degrees, on the seas.
The 14 members are
Australia,
Canada,
Chile,
Ghana,
Indonesia,
Japan,
Kenya,
Mexico,
Namibia,
Norway,
Portugal,
and the island nations of
Fiji, Jamaica, and Palau.

Suggestion:
If ports freeze up, you'll need
Submarine Ports for Cargo Shipments ...
Make submarine cargo barges
and tow them with subs...
They could surface at the warm ports...
Since the barges could submerge and SURFACE...
Submarines would only be needed
to extract and place barges in ports.
Only one sub.
Ordinary ships could tow the barges
to their destinations.
Start digging...and building barges...
