These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the TV Remote Control mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2) What the App does
The App lets you discover and control compatible smart TVs and set-top boxes (for example, Roku devices) over your local home network (Wi-Fi/Ethernet). The App communicates directly with devices on the same local network and is intended for personal, household use.
3) Requirements and permissions
To function correctly, the App may require:

Local Network permission to discover and connect to devices on your network.

Your device must be connected to the same local network as the TV/set-top box.
You are responsible for your network setup and ensuring you have permission to control the devices you connect to.
4) Acceptable use
You agree you will not:

Use the App to control devices you do not own or do not have permission to control.

Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to networks, devices, or services.

Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
5) Third-party devices and services
The App works with third-party devices and their software/firmware. We do not own or control those devices or their services and are not responsible for:

Device availability, compatibility, reliability, or performance

Changes in device firmware or network behavior that break functionality

Third-party terms or policies that may apply to the device
6) No guarantee of availability
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or compatible with every device/network.
7) Intellectual property
The App and its content (excluding third-party trademarks and device names) are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use in accordance with these Terms.
8) Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will discover or control every device in every network environment.
9) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10) App Store / Apple terms
If you obtained the App from Apple’s App Store, you also agree to applicable Apple terms. Apple is not responsible for the App’s support or claims relating to the App, except as required by law.
11) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
12) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
