LEDitLight 2009-2013
Kaj is directeur en oprichter geweest van het bedrijf leditlight.net dat LED-verlichting verkoopt. Dit bedrijf is in 2009 doorverkocht. Het bedrijf heeft een bijna constante stroom van negatieve recensies, velen ervan hebben te maken met de slechte klantenservice en de lage kwaliteit van de producten. Ook wordt het bedrijf meerdere beschuldigd van oplichterij. De recensies op de site zelf worden gefilterd en er is verder weinig bekend over de actuele locatie en toestand van het bedrijf.
Herstart Je Gezondheid 2014-heden (?)
Dit is het deel van Kaj’s praktijken wat voor ons bericht van belang is. Herstart Je Gezondheid is een praktijk opgericht door Kaj de Vries die beweert dat chronische gezondheidsklachten en ziektebeelden veroorzaakt wordt door ziekmakende micro-organismen. De Vries beweert verder dat deze ziektes niet serieus worden genomen door de medische wereld - een niet onderbouwde bewering, en duidelijk een marketing techniek. De Vries denkt zelf een connoisseur van het Candida-’virus’ te zijn, volgens hem een soort schimmel. Hij is zogenaamd “na jaren van onderzoek” - geen verklaring van wat voor een soort ‘onderzoek’ en of het überhaupt legaal of officieel is - erachter gekomen waarom mensen ziek blijven hierdoor.
Kaj de Vries verschaft behandelingen van rond de 70 euro aan mensen die de symptomen delen van deze Candida-ziekte. Dit is niets meer dan oplichterij sinds De Vries geen officiële dokter, professor of wat dan ook is. Op de website ‘Kwakzalverij’ staat een artikel over hem die vaststelt dat De Vries een kwakzalver is. Ook op de website Skepp wordt er slecht over hem gesproken. Alle informatie die hij meent te kennen heeft hij gehaald uit boeken. Inmiddels heeft De Vries zelf een boek geschreven rondom het Candida-’virus’. Een link naar het gehele boek (CANDIDA - HET TOTAAL PLAN) is te vinden in het Dropbox map die aan het eind van dit bericht te vinden is. Het boek is heel amateurig ingedeeld. Men kan alleen speculeren over de waarheid van dit boek, het is namelijk net zo goed één groot broodje-aap verhaal.
Meer informatie over wat het echte Candida infectie is kan hier worden gevonden. Als je echt ervan overtuigd bent dat je een Candida gerelateerde infectie hebt, ben je beter terecht bij je huisarts dan bij Kaj de Vries, daar kunnen we zeker van zijn.
Virtual Popstar 2012-heden
Kaj de Vries heeft Virtual Popstar gebaseerd op het nu gesloten spel, goSupermodel. Het verloop van het bestaan van Virtual Popstar is niet altijd soepel verlopen. Het is door de jaren heen duidelijk geworden dat De Vries vaak met een onprofessionele en soms vijandige houding als administrator heeft gewerkt. Ook zijn er menig onenigheden tussen de moderators, de overige admins en de beheerder zelf (Kaj de Vries) geweest, op de Engelse, Nederlandse en Duitse server. Er is discussie over het delen van persoonlijke relaties van Kaj de Vries met de community op Virtual Popstar, en of dit geschikt is. De huidige situatie is redelijk stabiel.

LEDitLight 2009-2013
Kaj used to be the director and founder of the company leditlight.net which sells LED-lighting. This company was resold in 2013. The company has a near constant inflow of negative reviews, many of which are related to bad customer service and the poor quality of the products. The company has also been accused of scamming their customers multiple times. The reviews on the site itself are filtered and little is known about the current location and status of the company.
Restart Your Health 2014-present (?)
This is the part of Kaj’s practices that concerns this message the most. Restart Your Health is a practice founded by Kaj de Vries who claims that chronic health complaints and illnesses are caused by sickening micro-organisms. De Vries further claims that these illnesses are not taken seriously by the medical world - an unsubstantiated claim, and quite obviously a marketing tactic. De Vries thinks himself to be a connoisseur of the Candida-’virus’, which is a species of mold. According to him, ‘after years of research’ - no elaboration on what kind of research and whether it is even legal or official - he has found the source of the illness.
Kaj de Vries provides treatments which are around 70 euros to people who share the symptoms of this Candida-illness. This is nothing more than a scam since De Vries is no official doctor, professor or anything of the sort. On the website ‘Kwakzalverij’ is an article on him which confirms De Vries is a quack. Also, on the website Skepp they talk badly of him. All the information he claims to know he has picked up from books. Meanwhile, De Vries has written a book himself on the Candida-’virus’. One can only speculate about the facts within this book, it could all be just plain nonsense for all we care.
Little is known about the current status of the practice.

Virtual Popstar 2013-present
Kaj de Vries based Virtual Popstar on the now closed game, goSupermodel. The progress of the existence of Virtual Popstar hasn’t always been smooth. Throughout the years it has become clear that De Vries often works with an unprofessional and at times hostile attitude as administrator. There has also been a number of disagreements between the moderators, the other admins and the director himself (Kaj de Vries), on the English, Dutch and German server. There is a discussions about whether it’s appropriate for De Vries to be sharing details about his personal relationships with the community of Virtual Popstar. The current situation is more or less stable.
