Regarding Smartphone Audio

Regarding Audio on Phones...
Get a free voice recorder app
However, it makes m4a files,
Even when it says they're mp3.
Gdrive won't play m4a, but it will
play mp3.
You need a free audio converter app.
Once it's converted,
You can edit it with WavePad,
a Stellar free app.
WavePad can load and save MP3s,
but not m4a's
Got it ?
Your files can be equalized, and amplified.
You can save your file to gdrive, or other
online space, get the link to the file,
make it available Offline,
and make sure the file access permissions
says anyone with link can access the file.
Then you can copy the link into an email,
or an online page, or email the audio
as an attachment.
However, GMAIL limits attachments
at 5 Meg.
You can WavePad save your file
as a lower resolution MP3, making it
smaller.
But if you're sending 30 minutes of audio,
you have to post it to Gdrive, and send the link.
You can use Tinyurl to make an appropriate
name for the Gdrive gobbledegook, and
post that...
Simple, huh ?
Chuck
PS.
Remembering all the fun we had with
my GE T-Bar Cassette recorder (4" speaker)
It seems foolish that GE doesn't reissue it
with the same form factor, and 4 D-Cell
Batteries, but with 2025 electronics
saving to a USB drive.
Kids would grow up with a good feeling
about General Electric...
Made in America, of Course.
