Power or Spirituality

How many times have you thought about the motives behind your interest in spirituality? Have you tried to reach the initial impulse that sent you into the otherworldly? If so, how successful have you been and are you satisfied with the answers?

We are all spiritual seekers at different stages of our search, and sometimes this search narrows down to a certain area, while sometimes we allow ourselves to wander, so that many phenomena attract our attention. Thus, in some cases, this can bring more problems than benefits to the spiritual seeker, since the answers he encounters along the way are not clear and straightforward enough to resolve his doubts.

That is why in this case we will talk about the dilemma that often arises during the search: power or spirituality, magic or mysticism?

As with everything else, the choice here is yours, and it depends on which direction you are going to go. One leads you to strengthen the Ego and increase your power through its countless forms.

The other destroys your Ego and destroys everything that you have acquired in your life. But just as the phoenix is born from its own ashes, a majestic and great being rises from the ruins of your Ego: the Developmental Consciousness of the Soul. This little piece of your Soul, this pure, unblemished, timeless and immortal consciousness, is in fact you, you, at the level of consciousness that you have reached at this moment. You, at the level of memories that you have materialized so far.

"And power ," someone will say. "Isn't its search worth anything?"

We are not exclusively against power, because each of us owns and lives to a certain extent. We are not against power if it is understood correctly: as a transitional stage in the development of the consciousness of a person or a nation. As a dark phase of pain and suffering of humanity.

If we understand this, we will eventually be able to accept the possibility of gradual surrender of power as a necessary condition for spiritual growth. This surrender will not be painful and traumatic, because it happens through meditation and, therefore, will be spontaneous, pleasant and gradual, given this is the path of spirituality.

Everything that happens in your life at the same time: all the pain, suffering, trauma, disappointment, not to mention the bad things, will disappear and give you the Freedom, without which there is no spirituality. That is why power is a huge rock on your path, which you can neither bypass nor skip, but you need to remove it wisely and gradually. Haste, my friends, is a sign of impatience of the Ego, while you will achieve nothing, because eternity is your home.

Thus, spiritual development is a small shift now, then another one a little later, and hair by hair, almost imperceptibly, we gradually remember ourselves. That is why it is available to everyone, provided that it is a sincere desire to resolve a spiritual aspiration. If, on the other hand, it is a business plan in the field of spirituality, then the results of this work will be uncertain and sporadic.

So we ask spiritual seekers, before they begin the process of remembering, to be honest and examine the motives that draw them to spirituality, because if they are wrong, they can take decades of your lives. This is not meant to discourage anyone, but it is a reminder to all of us that the more honesty we bring to our own lives, the more authentic and spiritual they will be.

Before diving into the depths of our being, it is good to know the outlines of the area we are exploring, because the unknown hides many forgotten things, but also reveals many new things. The deeper we dive, the more interesting the discoveries, whereas at the very bottom, in the treasure chest, we do not see ourselves in all our glory.
