Eddie was once again insisting she rest, and while she understood why, that didn't make it any less bothersome. She wanted to make sure he was okay, though while he was worried about her physical state, she was worried about his mental one. Ever since her conversation with Kas, Demona had been watching Eddie closer than normal, only to find nothing too far out of the usual. If he was going to have a mental break, though, any of the moments following crashing her van with a heavy storm outside and no way to get to a town until the following evening seemed like a good time for it.

Still, she knew Eddie. He was stubborn, and he stood by his (sometimes horrible) choices. If he wanted her to rest, he wasn't going to stop insisting on it until she did so. This wasn't the first time he had done so, either. Back in 10th grade, Demona had been trying to write a paper, and he had nearly hid her notebook to get her to take a break. She should've known he would insist on her resting, and with a heavy sigh, she groaned dramatically, even going as far as to lean backwards slightly so her hair fell off of her shoulders -- the true goal of the move.

"Uuuuuugh, fine. If you're going to be so persistent about it. You're so annoying." There was more than enough of a teasing tone in her voice to get across that she did, in fact, not find him annoying, and with a smile, the blonde rested her head against his shoulder. She didn't care that his hair was wet against hers. After all, it would dry by morning.
