Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern all versions of the following applications—whether running on iOS, macOS, Android, or any other platform, as well as associated websites, products, and services: The Document Converter, The File Converter, The Video Converter, The Audio Converter, The Image Converter, and The Vector Converter (each referred to as an “App” and collectively as the “Apps” or the “Converter Suite”).
The Converter Suite is licensed for your use (the “End-User”) by File Converter (hereafter “Licensor”), strictly under the guidelines laid out in these Terms of Use.
By downloading the Application from the Apple AppStore, and any subsequent updates provided under these Terms of Use, you confirm your agreement to be bound by all terms and conditions stated herein. Please note that although the App is available via the Apple AppStore, Apple is not a party to this agreement, nor does it assume any responsibility for aspects such as warranty, liability, maintenance, or support. File Converter, not Apple, is solely accountable for the Application and its content.
These Terms of Use have been designed in a manner that does not conflict with the most recent App Store Terms of Service, which File Converter has reviewed. All rights not explicitly granted to you remain reserved.
1. Application Overview
The “Converter Suite” application is specialized software developed to enable file format conversions—transforming files from one type to another.
2. License Scope
2.1 You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive, and non-sublicensable right to install and use the licensed Application on any Apple-branded device you own or control, in accordance with these Usage Rules and the App Store Terms of Service. This license also allows the Application to be accessed by other accounts linked with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
2.2 This license governs all future updates provided by the Licensor that replace, amend, or enhance the original Application unless a separate set of terms is provided for the update, in which case those new terms will govern.
2.3 You are strictly prohibited from reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, translating, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Application (unless you have received prior written consent from File Converter).
2.4 Copying of the Application, aside from the actions expressly permitted by these terms and the associated Usage Rules, is disallowed. You may only create and maintain backup copies on devices under your direct control, and such copies must adhere to this license, App Store terms, and any related device or software policies. No intellectual property notices may be removed, and you must ensure that unauthorized third parties are never able to access these copies.
2.5 File Converter reserves the right to modify these licensing terms at its discretion.
2.6 This license does not override any obligations imposed by third-party terms. When using the Application, you are responsible for complying with all applicable third-party terms and conditions.
3. Technical Specifications
3.1 File Converter may change technical specifications as needed at any time without prior notice.
4. Maintenance and Support
4.1 File Converter holds complete responsibility for delivering any maintenance or support related to this Application. Should you need support, please contact File Converter via the email address provided below.
4.2 Both File Converter and the End-User acknowledge that Apple holds no responsibility to offer maintenance or support services for the Application.
5. Data Usage
You acknowledge that File Converter may access and manage your downloaded Application data and personal information, all in accordance with your legal arrangements with File Converter and our privacy policy (available at the designated link).
6. Liability
6.1 File Converter accepts no liability for any damages that result from breaches of Section 2 of these Terms of Use. To prevent data loss, you are expected to make use of any backup features provided within the Application, in line with third-party usage guidelines. Any modification or interference with the Application could result in loss of access or functionality.
7. Warranty
7.1 File Converter warrants that the Application is free from spyware, viruses, or other malware at the time of download and that it functions as described in the provided user documentation.
7.2 No warranty extends to issues where the Application is not executable due to unauthorized modifications, improper use, or incompatibilities with hardware or software, nor for issues beyond File Converter’s control.
7.3 You agree to inspect the Application immediately following installation and to report any issues directly to File Converter at halukvukal@gmail.com within 30 days of discovering any defects. Such defect reports will be thoroughly examined.
7.4 Should a defect be confirmed, File Converter may choose to address the issue by either correcting the defect or providing a replacement.
7.5 If the Application fails to meet any applicable warranty, you are entitled to report the issue to the App Store Operator, who may refund your purchase price. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the App Store Operator disclaims any further warranty obligations.
7.6 For entrepreneurial users, any claims based on defects must be made within twelve (12) months from when the Application was first made available. For consumer users, statutory limitation periods apply.
8. Product Claims
Both File Converter and the End-User acknowledge that File Converter is solely responsible for handling any claims related to the use, possession, or performance of the Application, including but not limited to:

Product liability claims.

Claims that the Application does not meet applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Claims arising under consumer protection or privacy laws, including those related to features such as HealthKit and HomeKit.
9. Legal Compliance
You confirm that you are not located in a country under a U.S. Government embargo, listed as a “terrorist supporting” nation, or on any U.S. Government list of restricted parties.

11. Termination
This license remains in effect until terminated by either File Converter or by you. Failure to comply with these Terms of Use will result in the automatic termination of your license without prior notice. Upon termination, you agree to immediately cease using the Application and destroy all copies, whether in whole or in part.
12. Third-Party Terms and Beneficiaries
File Converter warrants that it will adhere to all relevant third-party terms when utilizing the Application. In accordance with Section 9 of the developer’s minimum terms guidelines, upon your acceptance of these Terms of Use, Apple and its subsidiaries become third-party beneficiaries, and Apple reserves the right to enforce these terms against you.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
Both File Converter and the End-User agree that in the event of any third-party claims alleging that the Application infringes on intellectual property rights, File Converter—not Apple—will be solely responsible for investigation, defense, and resolution of such claims.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
15. Miscellaneous
15.1 Should any part of these Terms of Use be deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Invalid terms will be replaced with valid ones that closely reflect the original intent.
15.2 No collateral agreements, modifications, or amendments will be recognized unless they are documented in writing. Waivers for any clause must also be provided in writing.
