Oliver, the law of Karma and Dharma is extremely complex and it is impossible to give any simple answer to the question you asked, which you certainly know. The fact is that you are beings of Free Will and as such you make your own decisions that you deem appropriate in certain life situations. Every decision, i.e. action, by which you violate someone else's Free Will, way of life, thinking, movement, freedom they enjoy, including physical integrity/life, automatically generates the same dharmic reaction that will manifest in your subsequent incarnations, applies to the Children of Earth, and not to you, Oliver :) .
Therefore, participation in war has certain darmic consequences, but this participation is a necessity, although most often only one side is the winner, while the other participating states are the defeated side. These events manifest themselves at the level of your societies, according to the rules you adopted during their formation.
The Law of Karma and Dharma permeates the entire Universe, all thirty-four planes of consciousness, and as such it operates in the manner described above, regardless of your local ideas of good and evil, reward and punishment, guilt and innocence. While you are at a low level of consciousness development, the mistakes you make have their own rough and tumble line of manifestation, and as you advance in the process of developing consciousness, so the number of mistakes you make diminishes and they become less serious in terms of their impact on other people. In this way, you are able to direct your life in a direction free from the limitations of the dharmic nature, which means that you are able to progress in the process of developing your consciousness.o
It is important to understand that the law of Karma and Dharma is not a punishment, but a spiritual help that helps you understand that it is wrong to harm others or limit their development in many different ways. People with highly developed consciousness spontaneously realize this and do not harm or limit others in the process of developing consciousness, whatever its nature, by their actions, except when their actions directly threaten your physical existence and functioning. It is not easy to defend yourself from such people, but the more peaceful and non-aggressive your method of self-defense is, the milder the darmic consequences for you will be, one might say, non-existent.
This answer will not please many spiritual seekers because it is not, in fact, direct and clearly defined, for reasons we explained at the beginning of this channeling.
We greet you, Children of the Earth, wish you all the best and wish you to do good to others in a best possible way: do not harm them.
