Peculiar Coincidence

Five minutes after taking this photo

of a book I purchased this week,

an Oriental Desk clerk came up

and told me I had to keep my voice down...

At least somebody gave me enough

to buy a piece of cheese today...

 

If I don't tell you, you don't know.

 

Maybe some hard candy for Christmas.

 

 

St Nicholas Day is Saturday.

 

My Mother-in-Law Ruth Hatzel told me

that in Germany, they didn't get gifts

at Christmas.

Instead, on St. Nicholas Day,

they would find their shoes filled with

Nuts and Hard Candy.

 

No keyboards please...

They'd steal it within 2 days...

 

It's interesting to watch someone repair

something that no shop would ever touch.

Most people don't bother with repairs anymore, the bench time at the shop would

exceed the price of a new one.
