What is Indigestion?

1. Baking Soda

Take ½ teaspoon baking soda and half glass of hot water. Add half a teaspoon of baking soda to half a glass of water and mix well. Then drink this water.

Baking soda is said to be a natural antacid, which can help treat indigestion and chest irritation. It can neutralize stomach acid to cure indigestion.

 

2. Apple Vinegar

1-2 tablespoons apple vinegar and 1 glass of water. Mix one to two teaspoons of apple vinegar in a glass of warm water. You can add a little honey to taste. Then drink this mixture.

Take a spoonful of cinnamon powder and a cup of water. Boil one cup of water in a pan. When the water starts boiling, add one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to it and boil for two-three minutes. After boiling well, sieve it in a cup. Drink cinnamon tea by mixing two to three drops of lemon.

 

4. Chamomile Tea

A spoonful of chamomile tea ,a cup of water and Honey. Heat a cup of water in a pan. Add a teaspoon of chamomile tea leaves to it. After boiling well, sieve it in a cup and take it with honey.

Chamomile is considered a digestive relaxant i.e. it can be helpful in relaxing the digestive system. Its use can be used to correct many problems related to the stomach. It is said that it can help in getting relief from indigestion problem and its other symptoms like gas, vomiting and nausea. This can help to remove the gas and relax the muscles that carry food from the stomach to the intestine.

 

5. Lemon and Ginger Tea

A piece of ginger, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 cup hot water, Honey. Put a piece of ginger in a cup of hot water. Then add one teaspoon lemon juice. Sieve this water after 5 to 10 minutes.

When this tea becomes lukewarm, add a little honey to it and drink immediately.

Other tips to avoid indigestion

  • Do not exercise immediately after eating food.
  • Chew the food thoroughly and swallow it.
  • Control weight
  • Avoid eating anything in the middle of the night.
  • Do not smoke / consume alcohol.
  • Do not be under stress.
  • Sleep only after two to three hours after eating food.
