Choose Express Entry to Migrate to Canada without a job offer
If you want to migrate to Canada through one of the above-mentioned programs that use the express entry system, you must know that not everyone who is in the express entry pool gets selected for a PR visa.
The Express-Entry is a points-based immigration system that only selects applicants with a high comprehensive ranking system score (CRS) for permanent residence. A job officer is not required to apply for the express entry system. However, having a job offer can boost your profile by adding 50 to 200 points to your existing score depending on the position offered to you. For a job offer to be added to your score, your Canadian employer must apply for a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) on your behalf.
If you are interested in applying through express entry as a Federal Skilled Trades program, please keep in mind that you do not need a full-time job offer to apply for this program. All you need is a Canadian skilled trade certificate or qualification in the same trade you are applying under.
Provincial Nominee Programs
When planning for Canadian immigration, there is nothing better than provincial nominee programs. The government of Canada divides its immigration pathways into two major categories- Federal Immigration and Provincial Nominee Programs.
As federal programs are managed by the government, Canada PNP programs are run by individual provinces and territories in Canada. Each province determines its own eligibility requirements tailored to their specific economic needs. These programs were designed to allow the provinces to bring in new immigrants to fit their labor market needs.
For express entry applicants, a provincial nomination can add 600 points to their CRS score. The following PNPs are the most popular program that do not require a job offer or connections to Canada.
- Alberta Express Entry
