Link awoke a century later with most of his memories gone and eventually defeated Calamity Ganon, freeing Zelda after her century-long struggle to contain it. The two became inseparable afterward, traveling Hyrule together while Zelda researched its history and worked to rebuild the kingdom. Their friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship. During the Upheaval, Link lost his right arm to Ganondorf's Gloom and received Rauru's arm in its place, using its Zonai abilities throughout his search for Zelda. With Hyrule finally safe, Link remains Zelda's knight, traveling companion, lover, and closest confidant.
Clothing: Link's standard outfit is his Archaic Tunic, a simple outfit recovered on the Great Sky Island. It consists of a short gray tunic wrapped around his torso and waist, leaving part of his upper chest and right shoulder exposed, with a green cloth draped over his left shoulder and secured across his body by a brown strap.
