🌹 Rosy Chronicle 4th Single Release Event — Official Report

On November 4, Rosy Chronicle, a group under Hello! Project, held a release event for their latest single at Sunshine City Fountain Plaza in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, titled "4th Single Free Live Circuit ~Because the Future Is Unbeatable☆☆☆~." This report covers the first performance, held at 4:00 PM.

Formed in June 2024 and making their major-label debut in March 2025, Rosy Chronicle released their fourth double A-side single, "I Mean, It's the Worst Luck☆ (Datte Daikyou Jan☆) / Blamed or Loved, I Can't Cry (Najiraretatte Nakenai Aisaretatte Nakenai)," on the day of the event.

Just two days earlier, on November 2, the group won "IDOL BATTLE ALIVE 2026," a live performance competition with a championship prize of 5 million yen.

In this competition, idol groups put together their own setlists and stage productions, competing against one another through live performances. Fresh from their victory, Rosy Chronicle arrived at the release event with plenty of momentum.

All nine members took the stage: leader Honoka Hashida, Hinoha Yoshida, Karin Onoda, Ayana Murakoshi, Hasumi Uemura, Yulia Matsubara, Hana Shimakawa, Rena Kamimura, and Yume Soma.

Despite the event taking place on a weekday, a large crowd of fans gathered to see the group perform songs from their new single and other releases.

The event began with the venue's famous fountain shooting high into the air as Rosy Chronicle appeared onstage to enthusiastic applause.

They opened with "I Mean, It's the Worst Luck☆ (Datte Daikyou Jan☆)," delivering an energetic performance set to upbeat electronic pop sounds.

During the first MC segment, all nine members cheerfully greeted the audience in unison:

"We're Rosy Chronicle!"

Ayana Murakoshi introduced the group, saying:

"We're a group that debuted last year under Hello! Project, alongside groups such as Morning Musume., ANGERME, and Juice=Juice."

The members then shared their excitement and enthusiasm for the event.

Next came "Pi-Pi-Pit-a-Pat!," an additional track included on Regular Edition A of their new single. The members filled the venue with their charming vocals.

They followed with "Where's the Batter's Box? (Batter's Box wa Doko?)," an additional track from Regular Edition B.

This upbeat song incorporates baseball-inspired elements. Led by Honoka Hashida and Yume Soma, both known for being devoted fans of the Chiba Lotte Marines, the members delivered a powerful performance.

Earlier this summer, Hashida and Soma also fulfilled their shared dream of throwing ceremonial first pitches at an official Pacific League baseball game.

During the song, fans enthusiastically shouted, "Kattobase! Rosy!" ("Hit it out of the park, Rosy!"), cheering the members on.

🎶 The Members Introduce the Highlights of Their New Songs

During the next MC segment, the members talked about the appeal of the two songs featured on their latest single.

Speaking about "I Mean, It's the Worst Luck☆ (Datte Daikyou Jan☆)," Hasumi Uemura explained:

"It's a positive song where, no matter what happens, you can just blame everything on having the worst luck. Just listening to it makes you feel better!"

She also shared her favorite parts:

"The rap sections by Hana Shimakawa and me, and the part that goes, 'I-I-It's because I got the worst luck!'"

Meanwhile, Rena Kamimura introduced the theme of "Blamed or Loved, I Can't Cry (Najiraretatte Nakenai Aisaretatte Nakenai)."

"The song tells the story of a girl who has been hurt so deeply that she loses her emotions and turns into a doll."

She also mentioned that the members wore doll-inspired costumes for the music video and encouraged fans to pay attention to the details:

"I hope everyone will notice our facial expressions and the doll-like choreography."

Returning to the performance, Rosy Chronicle presented the more serious side of the group with "Blamed or Loved, I Can't Cry (Najiraretatte Nakenai Aisaretatte Nakenai)."

They then performed "Gao Gao Gao," during which the audience joined in with the song's catchy refrain, their enthusiastic calls echoing throughout the surrounding area.

🏆 The "IDOL BATTLE ALIVE 2026" Championship Belt Makes an Appearance!

During another MC segment, the members shared the exciting news of their victory at "IDOL BATTLE ALIVE 2026" with the audience.

Leader Honoka Hashida proudly raised the championship belt high above her head, while Ayana Murakoshi exclaimed:

"We won the championship!"

The crowd responded with repeated cheers of "Rosy!" to celebrate their achievement.

The group then performed "Less Than an Anniversary (Kinenbi Miman)," showcasing their charming idol appeal.

For their final song, they returned to "I Mean, It's the Worst Luck☆ (Datte Daikyou Jan☆)," performing it for the second time that day.

At the end of the performance, all nine members smiled and called out:

"We're Rosy Chronicle!"

With that, the release event came to a cheerful close.

After the event, leader Honoka Hashida shared her thoughts.

Although the weather had been rainy, many fans still came to support the group. Hashida expressed her gratitude:

"So many people came to see us today, and we were able to perform songs from our fourth single. It really felt like we created this release event together with everyone, and that made me so happy."

She also reflected on the group's new challenge and championship victory at "IDOL BATTLE ALIVE 2026":

"I don't want us to forget the feeling of working together to create that performance. I hope we can continue supporting one another and working hard as a team so that we can keep releasing more new songs."

Rosy Chronicle is currently holding their autumn concert tour, "Live Tour 2026 Autumn ~Blueprint~," with upcoming performances in Tokyo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Miyagi.

In December, the group will also embark on "Live Tour 2026 BOOKMARK -FROST & FLAME-," visiting Osaka, Tokyo, and Aichi, with Hello! Project trainees appearing as special guests.
