As part of his degree program, Toby Wagstaff spent a year in Rome, studying at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre. There, he focused on courses in the history of cinema and art. In addition to his academic pursuits, Toby volunteered as a teaching assistant in the English department and directed a production of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest with a cast of Italian students. He also worked as a part-time English tutor and honed his photography skills by exploring the city's rich history.
