Where I’ve Been

Growing up, Samuel found a balance between his love for structure and his brother Declan's spontaneous nature. While Declan was full of energy and quick to jump into new activities, Samuel enjoyed taking the time to plan things out. Whether it was building intricate Lego structures or organizing games in the backyard, Samuel’s methodical approach often set the stage for the duo’s adventures. Their playful rivalry was ever-present, with Samuel’s more composed demeanor tempering Declan’s wild ideas, yet they always supported each other, creating a harmonious bond that grew stronger with time.

Samuel Huang was born on March 15, 1996, in Singapore, to Calvin Huang, a commercial pilot, and Alice Liu, a flight attendant. From the start, Samuel was surrounded by a world of adventure, as his parents careers took them to various parts of the globe. While his parents traveled frequently, Samuel’s childhood was marked by a sense of stability and quiet curiosity. He was always more introspective than his younger brother, Declan, finding joy in reading, puzzles, and tinkering with small gadgets. The stories of faraway places told by his parents piqued his imagination, but it was the details of how things worked that truly captivated him.

Samuel Huang works as a mechanical engineer, where his methodical approach to problem-solving shines. Growing up with a natural curiosity about how things functioned, he channeled that passion into a career that allows him to design and improve systems and devices. His love for structure and precision, cultivated over years of building and tinkering with gadgets, serves him well in his work, where attention to detail and creativity are essential. Samuel enjoys the challenge of taking complex problems and breaking them down into manageable parts, finding solutions that are both practical and innovative. Despite the technical nature of his job, his love for design and creating allows him to bring a sense of artistry into his work, blending his logical side with a flair for creativity.
