When we talk about the development of spiritual consciousness, then diplomas will not be useful to you, but the knowledge that you have acquired, especially that which we could classify as logical-analytical knowledge. Oliver had the advantage, and he still has it, in that his structure of consciousness is based on logical-analytical principles, which is of great value in the process of developing spiritual consciousness.
The processes that occur in your consciousness during this process are so subtle and elusive, so to speak, that it is very difficult to separate what is what and from what, that is, from whom, certain impulses come to you. Then logic comes to your aid, which very easily manages to separate the important from the unimportant, the personal from the objective, the positive from the negative.
Another important feature of logic is its ability to immobilize the actions of the Ego, which greatly manipulates the consciousness of the person in whose aura it is located. Due to this characteristic of logic, the impact of the Ego's action on the consciousness of a person in which logical-analytical models of thinking and understanding of the world and phenomena in it dominate is very weak and, one might say, ineffective.
Thanks to this, a person with a dominant logical-analytical structure of consciousness can very easily distance himself from the action of his Ego, after which for the Soul of this person, erasing his Ego becomes more of a matter of routine.
However, if the spiritual seeker has not sufficiently developed logic as an integral part of the structure of his consciousness, he will find it very difficult to separate himself from the action of his Ego, which in this case is perceived by his consciousness as a friend and protector.
There is no set of specific exercises and procedures that will lead to the development of logic, but it is a process that takes place over many lifetimes. The most important part of this process is education and research, which in many areas of interest need not be exclusively associated with academic institutions.
