National Dome Code

Dome Code
We now live in a Climatological
Chaotic World.
We can't change it, any more than
the Ancient Japanese could stop
Typhoons and Tsunamis...
How did the Japanese cope with
Impossible Storms ?
With PAPER WALLS !
The Japanese had few local building
materials, and it was virtually impossible
to build a house strong enough to withstand a Typhoon..!
So:
They built frame houses
with PAPER WALLS !
The storms would blow out
the walls, and then, after the storm,
they would rapidly re-paper the
walls, rebuilding the homes.
A form of environmental
Jiu-Jitsu !
We have the Geodesic Dome of
R. Buckminster Fuller...
Unfortunately, Domes don't adhere
to most Local Building Codes...!
Congress needs to write up a
simple, adaptable National Dome Code,
to allow Geodesic Domes to be
permanently erected in official
Storm/Quake/Flood ravaged areas.
Insurance Companies would benefit
from the rapid clearing of claims,
and, if next year, the Domes are storm damaged, they also would also
be rapidly rebuilt.
Recovery housing will be rapidly built,
using a minimum of materials.
New Building Materials can be used,
and should be included in the code.
Do it.
