Qutrits and Ququarts

As a test of concept, Scientists caused

a Qubits cell to act as a Qutrit, with Three

Simultaneous States.

 

Then they tried Ququarts, with Four

Simultaneous States.

 

The key component that analyzes the

states is called a Transmon.

 

Error correction methods were devised as well.

 

They're trying to do more with the small

Qubit counts of most equipment.

 

Kind of like when Floppies went from

Single Sided, to Double Sided, Double Density, and then to High Density ...
