We will talk about love again. About love with a capital L.
Love is the fundamental matter of the Universe.
Yes, you read that right: matter, because although it is invisible, it is prima materia, the basic foundation for all other energies and matters of the Universe. Nothing existed before it, and from it arose everything that exists, both visible and invisible. It is gravity, light, stones, grass... and everything else that comes to your mind. But most importantly, at least for you, is the awareness that you are Love. You are made of it, although for you this statement may sound funny and even offensive. As you are, you are pure Love.
"But I don't feel like Love," you will say. "I feel like John Smith, a salesman, married, a father of three children, reading the newspaper "The Guardian", a fan of '"Chelsea F.C.", owning a used " Rover", a two-room apartment, and a loan that I am paying off. At work, I am not very loved, neighbors are hit or miss, and my wife wonders where her mind has gone. Love and I? Are you sure you haven't mistaken me for someone else?"
Mr. John Smith is not alone in such reflections; moreover, most of you could sign under his words quoted above, couldn't you? So have we misjudged you? What prevents you from recognizing yourself as Love? Have you ever thought about this?
Although you perceive yourself as Ego, it is not just Ego, but consists of several parts: Mental Ego, Emotional Ego, and Life Ego. This means that in each case, there are at least three of you (and if you are at least a little self-aware, then four). Of course, you do not realize this trinity, and if someone reminds you of it, you will get angry at them: "You want to say that I am insane, don't you?" you will ask them angrily.
I ask you to be careful, because your Emotional Ego feels threatened, so in collaboration with the Mental and Life Ego, all three together, you can dangerously poison someone's life.
As a trinity that considers itself a whole, they are useful, but at the same time dangerous. Useful because they care about your safety and existence, and dangerous because they can hardly do anything else. Being under their control and protection, from a distant point of view, causes you more harm, than good.
Anyway, where is the place for Love here?
Love begins where Ego ends, because the two relate to each other as thesis and antithesis: where one is, the other is not.
And their nature is different.
Ego is forceful, uncultured, militant, loves to stand out, to fight, to dominate, and to win. It loves to be admired and recognized for its power.
Love is quiet, shy, weak, unobtrusive, non-militant, and will always hide from it. It never fights with Ego for superiority, but in waves, flowing alongside your life, patiently waits for you to finally understand, after countless lives, that Ego is leading you nowhere, and that with its help, you will not hear the Song of Your Soul. It takes lives and lives spent in pain and suffering for you to realize that it is Ego that hinders you in this. That it is the Jailer of your Soul.
In Egoland, it is necessary for you because without it, you seem not to exist, but you must outgrow it because your next station is Love.
Where there is no Ego, there is Love.
Do not be mistaken, Love is not the love of Ego, which is based on statements: "I love you because you please me," "I love you as much as I have something to gain from you," and "I love you because you come from me."
It is above that. It is a state of consciousness that is the first step to Freedom, to love everyone, regardless of pleasure, gain, or belonging; it is an incredible experience. It is the acceptance and knowledge of the spirit of the Universe, connecting you with everything that exists. If you do not allow Love to fill you, then you will remain in the dungeon of Ego.
So feel it and open yourself to it, shedding all the layers of Ego. When they leave, disappear, then nothing will remain but You and Love.
You will smile, I know, I do it too when I write these lines. It's simple, isn't it?!
