Everyone who is at one of the stages of spiritual development, has at least once thought about the idea of replacing the life they are currently leading, with a life in nature. Of course, leaving "civilization" is not easy, and for most it will be just a simple fantasy intended for moments of leisure. But some of you will take the decisive step, and you or your whole family will move to live in nature. To start such a lifestyle as successfully as possible, we will share with you a few ideas and observations (unfortinately, not from personal experience) in the hope that they can be useful to you.
Residental Complex
As a basis for living in nature, you will need a place to live, and depending on the money you have, this may be the biggest problem, since a few acres of land in some beautiful and forgotten corner of this planet usually costs no more than a couple of thousand euros/dolars. Since most spiritual seekers are allergic to living spaces like a cube and a prism on top of it, we will show two types of objects that, in addition to being comfortable and functional, fit completely into the natural environment with their shape. Both types can be built from the building material you already have: stone, blocks, siporex ..., although we recommend fired bricks or polypropylene bags filled with soil.
Dugout
The advantages of a dugout type residential house are numerous: it is pleasantly cool in the summer, warm in the winter, its appearance does not spoil the environment, but care should be taken to ensure that its windows face south. The roof is covered with beams that were filled with a layer of waterproof floor mixture (or a layer of cement), on top of which a layer of soil was applied and grass was sown.
Meditation Dome
For those who spend most of their time in meditation, so they need some type of self-isolation, a 🖼️meditation dome is better suited. After plastering, the dome should be coated with a special liquid to 100% protect it from water penetration, after which you can coat it with appropriate paint or cover it with grass. In terms of purpose, the dome does not have side windows, but has a round window / ship's eye window on the roof.
Water
Since it is a basic human need, a good source of drinking water will be a prerequisite for your outdoor life. Since many countries are rich in water, most of you this will not be a problem, but due to the lack of running water, the biggest problem may be using the washing machine, especially if you live with the whole family. You will solve this problem by placing a 100-liter plastic barrel above the washing machine and filling it with water from the water spring, which is enough for one wash, and if you use a "magic ball" instead of detergent, you will significantly reduce the pollution of the planet's water.
If you have some extra money, you can hire professional well diggers and install the hydrophore pipes. First, using electronic devices that find the flow of water, they will determine the depth at which it is located and the approximate flow rate, looking for the best place within your property.
Electricity
In most cases, despite the isolation of your property, you will be able to connect to the power grid. However, it may happen that some landscapes simply captivate you with their beauty and tranquility, but due to too great a distance from the power grid, this is not possible. In this case, if solar panels are too expensive an investment for you, try to get the electricity from the project 🖼️shown in the picture, noting that this is just an idea that has not yet been tested.
Food Products
If you can gather most of the food you need grow it at home, you will significantly reduce the need for money, so building a garden of at least one acre is an investment in itself. Because of the garden, as well as the orchards, the house requires being no higher than 500 meters above sea level, since it can be 10 degrees colder in the wildness, than in the city.
What you will plant in the garden is up to you, and from what cannot stay fresh for long, after harvesting, make brine, tomato juice, jams, fruit juices, sweets... and so on. As trivial as it may seem, proper nutrition is perhaps the most important thing in life in nature, and if you fail in this, you will quickly pack up and leave your self-sufficient property.
Permaculture knowledge, readily available on the internet, can help you grow healthy food. If you are a meditator/channeler/healer, you can occasionally ask the spiritual consciousness to help your vegetable garden and orchard to produce larger, more nutritious fruits. If it worked on the poor, windswept soil of Fandhorn, why not for you?
Money
While you can provide a certain amount of food from your vegetable garden and fruits, of course you will need money for other goods. If you have a degree in computer science, you can earn the money you need online by running commercial websites, creating graphics, developing programs, apps... and the like. If you have not done so already, you can do so by making pottery, painting, making stained glass, weaving, collecting and growing herbs and mushrooms, raising bees and producing honey, providing spiritual healing services, conducting spiritual seminars, producing health food, cheese, kombucha... and the like.
In any case, living in nature, your monthly expenses will be significantly lower, than your expenses when you lived in a city area.
Internet
Living in the nature doesn’t mean being completely cut off from the world, so you’ll need the Internet. This is less of a problem than it seems, because even if your self-sufficient property is located in the wilderness, you can almost always point your wireless Internet antenna at one of the terrestrial telecommunications transmitters. The transmitter could be located on a hill ten kilometers away, the only thing that matters is that there is clear space between you and it. You can easily find out about this from your service provider, who, depending on your location, will determine whether wireless Internet is available.
Animals
Living in the nature without pets is almost unthinkable, with dogs and cats being the usual choices. But as useful as they are, a dog can be a nuisance if you are conducting spiritual workshops in your self-sufficient property, primarily due to its unwarranted aggressiveness. So, if you absolutely must have a dog, make sure it is a dwarfed and non-aggressive species, if such exists.
You won't have any problems with a cat, and you'll benefit from getting rid of rodents and possibly some snakes that are attracted to the heat and activity from your home.
Since spiritual seekers are mostly vegan or vegetarian, being vegetarian because of milk, cheese and eggs, one or two goats and a few chickens would be an excellent food source. If you also eat meat from time to time, do not kill the animals you raise, because this will disturb both, your own and the energetic harmony of self-sufficient property, but put aside some money and buy meat from the store.
Know that your return to nature is not just an escape from an overpopulated and aggressive civilization, but a necessary step in finding answers to the question of the deeper purpose of your life. Pamper yourself and allow the energies of nature to heal you from accumulated pain, and what you have always been looking for, will find you.
