Dr. Ahmed Sharafeldin is a highly accomplished medical graduate from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain, celebrated for his academic excellence and ranking among the top ten in his cohort. His dedication earned him the prestigious RCSI President's Honor Award (2024).
Currently serving as a junior doctor in the Acute Internal Medicine Department at Noble’s Hospital, Isle of Man, Dr. Sharafeldin manages complex clinical cases involving acute care, diagnostic planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
His long-term ambition is to specialize in Gastroenterology, supported by extensive electives and observerships in the UK and USA.
His multicultural training across the Middle East, Europe, and North America strengthens his adaptability, communication, and clinical insight—key qualities in advancing Gut Health research and practice.

Dr. Sharafeldin's scientific interests are deeply aligned with the core themes of our conference, with focused work in:
