A day in the life as a Muslim caged in Australia
The Australia of yesterday is no more today; Australia has become one of the world’s biggest concentration camps! Where you are not welcome to stay and not allowed to leave
From the early morning I started to receive calls one after the other, messengers asking are you ok?
Not knowing what was happening I immediately thought there has been another 9/11 another attack, and I was right there was a terrorist attack on Australian soil not on Australia but on Muslims, and not by the hands of Muslim terrorist but by the terrorist Australian government against Muslims 800 officers 25 warrants and 15 arrests!
After researching I turned to my wife and said there is raid going on! Those who know the former Alrisalah Centre and myself know who we are and what we are about, so here started the thought we our next!
By this time its about 7am kids are getting ready for school, but to day is a different day, I hear my wife informing the kids Muslims houses are being raided but police and they might come here, so don’t be scared they might come in with guns and masks, don’t open the door daddy will.
Why asked my 5 year old son…..?
I tell my wife don’t worry even if they do come and the kids are here it will teach them automatic barrah (disavowal)
Moving on you start to think who has been raided you start calling other Muslims sending SMS, start to go on Facebook for news, Google news!
Ok we see that they have mentioned a couple of suburbs for the raids one of which Revesby?
We have family there make a call see if there ok? Mobile phones are off? try calling the landline, bingo an answer my wife’s aunty, you ok NO I’m being raided I’m scared they have masks guns! Cant talk!
you rush to do what you can do, make Duaa call the lawyer. Sit and wait.
An hour later the truth of the raid comes out AFP and Police force entry without warning rush to the main bedroom where the Mother of 2 and her Husband are asleep, police come in guns blazing in full force, the Mother being someone who wears Hijab and niqab(burqa) tries to cover her dignity as officers yells to take it off! upon refusing , she is beaten to the face, her 14 year old child sees this and tries to come to his mums aid, he is pushed into the wall and almost passes out
no heavy handling here or have the new torcher of people in custody law come early?
And this is only one story.
Ok good the kids are gone to school at least if they move in now they wont be affected!
Keep checking the news wait on people to return messengers saying they are ok, wait to see who is next, who knows could me, normal life for a Muslim these days a guess!
By now some might be saying your paranoid Not every Muslim is targeted, the Government aren’t terrorists!
Then I come across an article where Police commissioner (Andrew) Scipione alleged that one man charged this morning was planning to harm a member of the public then he is quoted
“You would have to be extremely unlucky to be that person, but the whole idea of terrorizing people is to make people think they could be a victim”
Hmm, see why the Muslim community should feel terrorized? By now some will start pushing the big red ‘Radical’ button to support the government, some Muslims will also be starting a very early hibernation, and a very few will not accept this oppression and these actions and will continue to stick their head out holding the Government accountable and not giving in to this fear mongering and to the ‘War on Islam’ in Australia, but most probably by early next week, these very same brave people will probably experience the vey same raids, arrests, warrants and be terrorized by the Government and the un-just Media.
All this to push the justification of new anti terror laws which only target Muslims, more funding for ASIO and we cant forget justification for military involvement in places like Iraq and Syria.
While shifting a blind eye away from a failed budget.
STOP TERRORISING MUSLIMS!
Overnight the government carried out “the biggest anti-terror raids in Australian history.”
YOU COULD BE NEXT
Just as in 2005, these come as new laws are being tabled in parliament next week!
Many families terrorized in the middle of the night, brothers and sister beaten, and stories of harsh policing are emerging, looks like we are heading to a police state.
STAND AS ONE and denounce this demonization of Muslims in any way shape or form, spread awareness of these new police tactics don’t be silent! Don’t betray Islam, your Prophet and the Muslims sadly you will see some will do in coming days, Be active! Not reactive!
Distribute whatever means of media you have access to, join community demonstration get behind protests and expose the government and its ‘War on Islam’ and spread awareness to the Muslim masses.
