“HEPATOBILIARY SPECTRUM IN IBD: A Hospital-Based Case Series”
Dr. Naouel’s presentation focuses on the complex interplay between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hepatic-biliary manifestations, highlighting the spectrum of liver and biliary complications observed in hospital-based patients with IBD. This session will provide clinicians and researchers with a deeper understanding of hepatobiliary involvement in IBD and its implications for patient management.
Hepatobiliary complications are a significant yet often under-recognized aspect of IBD, impacting disease prognosis and treatment strategies. Dr. Naouel’s case series will cover:

- Implications for monitoring, diagnosis, and management of liver involvement in IBD
- Correlations between Crohn’s disease and hepatobiliary abnormalities
Her research highlights the importance of integrated gastroenterology and hepatology care for IBD patients.
