Q)What is the exact release date?
A)End of this year, they will announce it in TGS 2014.

Q) What is the most interesting thing about the game from what you have played so far?
A) I love Ocelot. He plays a big role and he fights along you during the game. You get to select one companion or buddy to help you if the mission allows you. In some missions, that buddy can be Ocelot and he’s GOAT. Believe me, he’s probably the single best thing about MGSV.

Q)What bosses are there in the game?
A) Bosses are a big disappointment. I played two boss fights and you can escape from the battlefield or be extracted during it. It doesn’t feel like a fight at all. Armored vehicles bosses are back and you can usually destroy them in one hit with the proper tactic.
You can fight Ocelot during training, after you are rescued. I will expand this later. Basically I just fought Ocelot, an armoured vehicle and a normal Russian guy with a heavy armor. That one was hard.

Q) Is Chico Quiet?
A) No.

Q) Do you encounter Liquid?
A) Yes, Liquid. Can’t say anything else because I won’t speak about the ending.

Q) Is David Hayter in the game?
A) No. But we played a version without voices.

Q) Who is Quiet?
A) Former soviet soldier, Big Boss captures her, she escapes, Big Boss captures her again and trains her. Big spoiler: She dies in the middle of the game, but she gets to save Diamond Dogs base.

Q) Is Snake already a demon?
A) After the end of Ground Zeroes? No.

Q) Who is Skullface?
A) Big Boss and The Boss rescued him in the past. He worked for FOX but later was captured and brainwashed by the soviets. XOF is a side project created by Zero to ‘make’ an enemy for Big Boss to join Cipher.

Q) Solid/ David Hayter?
A) Can’t say. About Hayter, we don’t work with voices, but no. It’s been confirmed over here.

Q) Do any of the superiors tell crazy stories about Hideo Kojima?
A) Only my manager met Kojima. He never came here.

Q) Is the E3 demo an early build?
A) No, the game is around 80% complete. But the are cutting a lot of shit to prevent major spoilers.

Q) Why hasn’t Kojima shown Ocelot yet? Just to please fans when he does show his face? How many countries does Big Boss visit?
A) I saw only two countries.

Q) Could you expand on Those who “don’t” Exist? Are they the cobra unit brought back as cyborgs what can you tell us about that and how big of a role do they play?
A) What? No. They are cyborg prototypes controlled by a ‘hivemind’. Cipher controlled them, but Skull Face stole the whole project for himself when he made XOF independent.

Q) Has the opening hospital scene been changed since its first showing? Does it play out differently? Does the game immediately open up with Snake waking up? Are there QTEs in the cutscenes?
A) The camera is completely different. The one used in the trailers is meant to confuse the viewer.

Q) When does Snake become a demon?
A)When he hijack a missile launcher and destroy a complete soviet base in Africa, right in the middle of a town with innocent people.

Q) Will Big Boss work with Skullface? Who is venom snake? Release date for PC?
A) Venom Snake is Punished Snake. Some people will call him Venom and some people will call him Snake. He calls himself Punished. At the end there’s a twist there. But as I said, silence.

Q) WHY DOES ISHMAEL HAVE THE SAME VOICE AS SNAKE?
A) He’s not real. He’s Skull Face. Big Boss is remembering when he saved him with The Boss in that hospital.

Q) What happened to Amanda, Chico and Cecile?
A) Cecile will be back and will be important. Amanda is not back. Skull Face killed Chico in front of Big Boss when the chopper was damaged. They don’t crash, they land, and they are surrounded by XOF. And yes, there’s an island, but you don’t see that in the end of GZ.

Q) Is that blonde kid liquid or Raiden??
A) It’s Liquid. You recruit him.

Q) What is Quiet’s story? What is she being tortured? Does she become an Ally?
A) She was selling information to a mysterious contact and they found her. Later you discover that contact was Kaz.

Q) So what does Code Talker do in the game?
A) He’s the father of The Boss. You are told to find him in Africa so you can get the third part of the Philosopher’s Legacy, which he stole. Ham is his guard and when Code Talker gets killed he joins you to sell you weapons and talks about them in your base.

Q) Does Eva show up?
A) Ending.

Q) Has it really been 9 years?
A) Yes, but not in a coma. He was forced to work for Skull Face during those years. He fought wars for him and eventually the traumatic shit made him enter a shock and he was hospitalized for a few months. That’s what I take, without voices we can only rely on subtitles and some shit was not subbed yet. Also no sync is a pain. Some text had random order, so I had to figure out some of this shit.

Q) Is there a MGO? And do you know any more details about the base raiding. Its seems pretty annoying.
A) No MGO, it’s part of the same game. It wasn’t finished yet. It will be like Dark Souls. A Japanese team did the play testing, because we had no capacity to host the game.

Q) What roles do the Diamond Dogs fill? (Gameplay)
A) Uhh… You guys are pushing me, so I will tell just one thing about the ending. Diamond Dogs merges with FOXHOUND and XOF becomes Outer Heaven.

Q) Does Gray Fox make an appearance? What about outer heaven?
A) No, unfortunately. I don’t know if he’s mentioned, but I never saw him and no one talked about him.

Q) IS CHICO ALIVE?
A) Skull Face cuts his throat in front of Big Boss.

Q) Can you play as your soldiers or other characters? Can you customize what Big Boss wears?
A) Not sure about first, about the second, yes. You can change clothes in the commander’s room. I only saw 4 outfits, Desert cameo, Green cameo (similar to desert but green), GZ and naked. Those didn’t have names so I can’t tell that.

Q) DOES SNAKE WAKE UP WITH AMNESIA?
A) Yes. He doesn’t remember what he did for Skull Face

Q) WHAT IS THE NEW XOF METAL GEAR CALLED?
A) That’s Zeke.

Q) Holy shit. So, is Kaz still working for Zero?
A) Kaz knew they were going to attack Mother Base in GZ.

Q) Quick question. How does mother base work, in terms of customization. I assume you can choose where to place new platforms, but can you paint it? Can you choose different construction “styles”, as the base in E3 looked very different from the invaded Gamescom one. And last point, if you can color your base, can you customize your soldiers in any way, like choosing a standard cameo outfit for them to wear?
A) Yes, you can paint it. You need to buy all the custom paints. Some colors or patters need to be found in-game. Style is all the same, but you can choose different distribution for what goes where.

Q) OK now I know you’re fake. In MGS3 the boss specifically says the philosophers killed her father.
A) That was to hide the third part of the legacy. They were supposed to catch him and get it only for themselves, since no one else knew.

Q) What exactly makes Kaz and Big Boss part ways? How does Ocelot act around Big Boss? Like he did in MGS3, trying to be cool or more mature and collected? Did he say “you’re pretty good”?
A)Ending. About Ocelot, he acts different. Like really distant, I believe during the game he’s not entirely sure if Big Boss is still the Big Boss he met a few years back. After all what happened during 9 years prior TPP he kinda doubts about him and for me it seems like he’s being tested.

Q) We see Big Boss escaping with Ocelot. The Boss is nowhere to be seen.
A) Dude, Big Boss apparently remembers how they rescued him through the eyes of Skull Face.
