Before the Apple II or the
IBM PC was invented...
Before Microprocessors...
My Hutch-Tech Computer Electronics
Teacher, Thomas Gerbec,
had a number of notable phrases...
If anyone showed up late
to his daily 90 minute class...
He, (and the class) would
exclaim:
"HAVE A STAND..!"
and the tardy student would
stand at the back of the class,
against the windows and radiators,
until the lecture portion of the
class was complete, and we were
dismissed to
" GO TO WORK !"
at our Computer Electronics
Lab Stations.
If, during a lecture,
Mr Gerbec had suddenly
brought up a new topic,
like NPN Semiconductor doping,
or certain Logic Gate
Truth Tables...
He would look across the wide
classroom to see if anyone
was lost.
" Clear as MUD ???"
You better get this DOWN...
Because
You just might see this AGAIN !
(Groans from half the class...)

Explore the Linked Local Beans ,
and their OnLine presences.
