Wiped Shavings

In DC, at Miriam's Kitchen,

I once drew random squiggles

behind my back, with 8 colored pencils,

one line apiece.

 

It resembled a car.

 

An hour later, on the walk to

the main library, 

I saw a Honda CRX that resembled

the random drawing.

 

I photographed the car, and noted

the center windshield antenna, like

the drawing.

 

I noted the model name, and plate #,

and with later observation of my drawing,

 

Found:

CRX

and

the plate #.

 

My drawing had a blue squiggle

along the curb line at the base of

the car...

 

When I first saw the real CRX,

a medical student in blue scrubs

was laying down next to the car,

perhaps examining the front tire.

 

Later in the day, I shared the event

with the Miriam's Kitchen staff.

 

They shook their heads in disbelief...

 

but they believed me 

 

 

I think EVERYTHING has meaning...

but we don't take the time to

consider what the meaning might be.
