AEW Women's World Championship Match

Fallon Sinclair (c) vs. Mercedes Moné

All In — Wembley Stadium

August 30, 2026

The AEW Women's World Championship had become almost an afterthought beneath the violence taking place inside the ring.

What had been advertised for weeks as a collision between two of the most accomplished women in the division had long since descended into something far more personal, the kind of championship fight where neither competitor was particularly concerned with leaving Wembley Stadium looking good. Fallon Sinclair had spent the majority of the match fighting from underneath, refusing to surrender the title that had come to define one of the most dominant stretches of her career, while Mercedes Moné had done everything within her power to strip the champion of every advantage she possessed. The challenger had worked relentlessly on Fallon's left arm throughout the bout, wrenching it through submissions, driving it into the canvas, and forcing Sinclair to compensate for the injury with every movement she made. Even now, Fallon remained trapped against the turnbuckles, her back pressed into the corner as she cradled the injured arm against her stomach, her breathing ragged enough that the camera could visibly catch each strained exhale. Sweat glistened across her face and neck, her hair hanging loose around her features, and yet her eyes remained locked on Mercedes.

Across from her, Mercedes was smiling. Not broadly. Not theatrically. Just enough to make it clear that she believed she had finally broken the champion.

Tony Schiavone: "Ladies and gentlemen, this has been an absolute war here at Wembley Stadium! Fallon Sinclair has been fighting through an injured arm for what feels like the entirety of the second half of this match, and somehow she continues to find a way to stay on her feet!"

Excalibur: "But how much longer can she realistically continue? Look at that arm! Mercedes Moné has systematically taken it apart, and every time Fallon tries to use it, you can see the pain shoot through her entire body!"

Taz: "She's running on fumes, boys. That's all she's got left."

Mercedes slowly began walking toward the corner, deliberately refusing to rush what she clearly believed would be the final sequence of the match. She kept her eyes on Fallon as she approached, occasionally glancing down at the champion's injured arm with an almost predatory fascination. Fallon straightened herself as much as she could, pressing her shoulder against the turnbuckle and trying to force some feeling back into her fingers. The champion knew she was vulnerable, but she also knew that Mercedes' confidence had become almost as dangerous as her offense. Mercedes wanted her to believe this was over. She wanted Fallon to look at her own injuries and accept that there was nothing left.

Fallon refused.

As Mercedes came within striking distance, Fallon suddenly stepped out of the corner and threw a forearm.

Mercedes recoiled.

Fallon hit her again.

And again.

The first strike barely moved Mercedes, but the second forced her backward and the third snapped her head to the side. Fallon continued pressing forward despite the obvious pain shooting through her arm, alternating between short forearms and desperate kicks to Mercedes' thigh as she forced the challenger away from the ropes. The crowd immediately recognized what was happening and rose with her, thousands of people screaming Fallon back into the fight as the champion gathered whatever remained of her strength. Mercedes tried to create distance with a forearm of her own, but Fallon absorbed it and answered with another, then grabbed the back of Mercedes' head and drove a knee into her stomach.

Mercedes doubled over.

Fallon hooked her around the waist. With a scream that seemed to come from somewhere deeper than her lungs, Sinclair lifted Mercedes and drove her into the mat with a snap suplex. The impact shook the ring. Fallon rolled through with the momentum and immediately covered her.

ONE!

TWO!

Mercedes kicked out.

The building erupted.

Fallon rolled onto her back, staring toward the lights as she tried to catch her breath, her good hand covering her face for a moment before she forced herself upright. She knew better than to waste the opportunity. Mercedes was already turning onto her stomach, trying to push herself toward the ropes, and Fallon crawled after her, reaching with her good arm to catch Mercedes by the ankle. The challenger kicked free, sending Fallon stumbling backward, and used the ropes to pull herself upright. Fallon rose behind her, favoring the injured arm as she approached, but Mercedes suddenly spun around and caught her with a back elbow directly beneath the jaw.

Fallon staggered.

Mercedes grabbed her.

A knee to the ribs.

Another.

Then a third.

Fallon folded over, and Mercedes seized her by the hair, dragging her toward the middle of the ring before attempting to plant her with a DDT. Fallon managed to brace herself at the last second, forcing Mercedes' momentum to carry both of them forward. She shoved Mercedes away, but the challenger recovered first, sprinting toward the ropes and coming back with a running strike that caught Fallon squarely in the chest.

Fallon crashed backward.

Mercedes followed her down.

The challenger hooked the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

FALLON KICKED OUT!

The crowd exploded again.

Mercedes sat upright in disbelief.

For the first time, the confidence on her face began to crack.

Tony Schiavone: "ANOTHER KICKOUT! MERCEDES MONÉ CANNOT BELIEVE IT!"

Excalibur: "Fallon Sinclair simply will not stay down!"

Taz: "That's what I was talking about. You can hurt her, you can break her arm, you can beat the hell out of her, but you've still gotta convince her that she's lost!"

Mercedes stared down at Fallon.

Then she looked toward the corner.

Then toward the referee.

Something clicked behind her eyes.

She didn't need to beat Fallon cleanly.

She had never intended to.

Mercedes slowly climbed to her feet and began stalking the champion, waiting for Fallon to reach one knee. When Sinclair finally managed to push herself upright, Mercedes rushed forward, but Fallon anticipated the attack and caught her with a desperate boot to the stomach. Mercedes stumbled back, and Fallon followed with a clothesline that sent both women crashing through the ropes and onto the floor.

The crowd groaned as they hit.

Fallon landed awkwardly on her injured side and immediately clutched her arm, rolling onto her back as pain shot through her shoulder. Mercedes, however, had landed on her feet and recovered much faster. She grabbed Fallon by the hair and hauled her upright before throwing her shoulder-first into the barricade.

Fallon's body slammed into the padding.

Mercedes didn't let go.

She pulled Fallon away from the barricade and drove her back into it a second time.

And a third.

By the third impact, Fallon's legs were beginning to give.

Mercedes released her and stepped backward, admiring her work as Fallon sagged against the barricade. The challenger then grabbed the champion by the wrist and attempted to whip her toward the ring steps, but Fallon reversed the momentum at the last possible second, sending Mercedes crashing shoulder-first into the steel instead.

The crowd roared.

Fallon stumbled toward the ring, using the apron to pull herself upward.

Mercedes turned around.

Fallon was waiting.

She caught Mercedes with a forearm.

Then another.

Mercedes tried to answer.

Fallon ducked.

The champion grabbed Mercedes around the waist and attempted to lift her, but the injured arm immediately betrayed her. Fallon winced and released the hold, and Mercedes capitalized by driving her knee directly into the wounded shoulder.

Fallon screamed.

Mercedes grabbed her.

And sent her crashing back-first into the edge of the apron.

The champion collapsed.

Mercedes rolled her into the ring.

She followed.

The referee checked Fallon for a moment before backing away, allowing the champion to crawl toward the ropes.

Mercedes rose behind her.

She was smiling again.

Tony Schiavone: "Mercedes Moné is stalking Fallon Sinclair!"

Excalibur: "Fallon has nowhere to go!"

Mercedes charged.

Fallon turned.

And Mercedes' attack was met by a desperate superkick.

Mercedes dropped.

Fallon collapsed immediately afterward.

Both women were down.

Wembley erupted.

The referee looked from one competitor to the other.

Then began counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

Fallon's fingers moved.

FIVE!

Mercedes rolled onto her side.

SIX!

Fallon pushed herself toward the ropes.

SEVEN!

Mercedes reached the corner.

EIGHT!

Fallon pulled herself upright.

NINE!

Both women staggered toward the center.

TEN—No.

Mercedes was up.

Fallon was up.

And both women immediately began trading strikes.

Forearm.

Forearm.

Forearm.

Mercedes slapped Fallon across the face.

Fallon answered with a slap that nearly knocked Mercedes off her feet.

Mercedes fired back.

Fallon fired back harder.

The crowd had become deafening.

Neither woman was willing to move backward.

Tony Schiavone: "THIS IS A FIGHT!"

Excalibur: "THEY'RE THROWING EVERYTHING THEY HAVE AT ONE ANOTHER!"

Fallon gained the advantage, ducking underneath a Mercedes forearm and catching her around the waist. She drove Mercedes backward with a series of short shoulder blocks before sending her toward the ropes. Mercedes rebounded and attempted a running attack, but Fallon caught her in mid-stride and planted her with a Uranage.

Mercedes bounced off the canvas.

Fallon collapsed beside her.

She rolled Mercedes over.

Hooked the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

THR—Mercedes kicked out.

Fallon stared at the referee.

Her face was beginning to show frustration.

Mercedes was beginning to show desperation.

The champion dragged herself toward the ropes.

Mercedes did the same.

Both women were exhausted.

Both knew the next mistake could end everything.

And that was when Mercedes' eyes drifted toward the referee.

A realization.

A calculation.

A plan.

She looked back at Fallon.

Then at the official.

Then toward the entranceway.

There was the slightest hint of a smile.

Fallon noticed.

Her expression changed.

She knew exactly what Mercedes was thinking.

Tony Schiavone: "Wait a second..."

Excalibur: "Don't tell me."

Mercedes rushed Fallon.

The champion ducked.

Mercedes' shoulder caught the referee instead.

The official spun around.

Mercedes' eyes widened.

She reached out instinctively.

Too late.

The referee fell backward.

His head struck the canvas.

The bell didn't ring.

The crowd erupted in confusion.

Fallon looked down at him.

Mercedes slowly rose.

Then smiled.

There it was.

The opening.

The one she had been waiting for.

Mercedes turned toward the entrance.

She lifted one hand.

She pointed.

Then she looked toward the massive titantron.

The crowd began booing as they realized what was happening.

Mercedes laughed.

She mouthed the words.

"Come on."

The lights around Wembley began to dim.

Mercedes' smile grew wider.

Fallon remained in the corner, one arm wrapped around her injured shoulder as she watched the entranceway

with narrowed eyes.

Mercedes looked over her shoulder.

She was waiting for them.

Waiting for Megan Bayne.

Waiting for Lena Kross.

Waiting for Divine Dominion.

Her backup had arrived at every important moment throughout the night.

They had helped her gain the advantage.

They had neutralized Fallon's allies.

They had made sure Mercedes never had to fight an equal battle.

Now, with the referee unconscious and Fallon barely able to stand, Mercedes believed she was about to finish the

job.

The titantron flickered.

Mercedes' expression became triumphant.

And then—nothing happened.

No music.

No entrance video.

No pyro.

Nothing.

Mercedes' smile slowly disappeared.

She stared at the screen.

Confusion crossed her face.

The crowd began murmuring.

Then the titantron changed.

The entranceway disappeared.

The camera cut backstage.

And Wembley Stadium went silent.

A production hallway appeared on the massive screen.

The camera was moving quickly, almost frantically, as though whoever was operating it had only just arrived.

Something was wrong.

There were production cases scattered across the floor. A broken monitor lay against the wall. A cable had been ripped loose. And then the camera found them. Megan Bayne was lying motionless against the concrete.

Her body was sprawled awkwardly across the floor, one arm extended beside her as though she'd attempted to catch herself before being thrown down.

A few feet away—Lena Kross. Also down. Also motionless.  Mercedes' face drained of color.

Tony Schiavone: "WHAT IN THE WORLD?!"

Excalibur: "DIVINE DOMINION!"

Taz: "What the hell happened?!"

The camera moved closer.

Neither woman responded.

No music played.

No attacker stood over them.

No explanation was given.

Just destruction.

Someone had gotten to Divine Dominion.

And whoever had done it was already gone.

The camera slowly panned down the hallway.

Nothing.

Not a single person.

Mercedes stared at the titantron in disbelief.

Her backup was gone.

Her plan was gone.

Her advantage was gone.

For the first time all night, Mercedes Moné looked completely alone.

Fallon Sinclair remained in the corner.

She was breathing heavily.

Her good hand had curled around the top rope.

Her injured arm remained tucked against her body.

She had watched the entire thing.

But unlike Mercedes, she wasn't staring at the screen anymore.

Fallon's eyes were fixed on something else.

Something inside the ring.

Something Mercedes hadn't noticed.

The crowd had started making a strange noise.

Not cheering.

Not booing.

A rising sound.

A realization spreading through Wembley.

Mercedes slowly turned around.

And stopped.

A figure had just slid underneath the bottom rope.

Black boots touched the canvas.

A familiar silhouette rose slowly from the floor.

The camera zoomed in. And the stadium exploded.

Tony Schiavone: "OH MY GOD!"

Excalibur: "NO!"

Taz: "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"

Jazmin Genesis stood inside an AEW ring for the first time in two years. The reaction was unlike anything Mercedes had heard all night. It wasn't merely noise. It was disbelief. The kind of roar that came from thousands of people simultaneously realizing they were witnessing something they had convinced themselves they would never see again.

Jazmin had left AEW in 2024 when her contract expired. She had gone to WWE. Two years had passed. And now she was standing inside Wembley Stadium. Back where so many memories had been made. Back in the company where her name had become synonymous with chaos, championship fights, friendships, betrayals and some of the most violent matches of her career.

But she didn't acknowledge the crowd.

She didn't raise her arms.

She didn't smile.

She didn't even look toward the entranceway.

She simply stood.

Her dark hair framed her face, slightly disheveled from the sprint to the ring, while her eyes remained fixed across the canvas. On Fallon Sinclair. Fallon's expression changed the instant their eyes met. For a moment, everything else disappeared. The crowd. The championship. Mercedes. The fallen referee. The cameras. Everything.

There was only Jazmin and Fallon.

Two women who had known each other for more than a decade. Best friends. Sisters in everything but blood... depending on which way it's spilled of course. Women who had shared locker rooms, victories, losses, secrets and scars.

Women who had grown up together in this business. And now, after two years apart, they stood across from one another in an AEW ring with Fallon Sinclair holding the Women's World Championship and Jazmin Genesis looking at her like she was trying to remember exactly who she was looking at.

Fallon slowly straightened herself. Pain immediately flashed across her face. She ignored it. Her injured arm remained against her ribs as she took a cautious step forward. Jazmin didn't move. Fallon took another. The distance between them shortened. Neither woman spoke. The camera caught Fallon's eyes. Then Jazmin's.

There was no obvious hatred.

No smile.

No affection.

Nothing that could be easily explained.

Jazmin's expression was almost unnervingly calm. There was something in the way she looked at Fallon that made the moment feel far more intimate than an ordinary confrontation. It wasn't the look of someone hunting an enemy. It wasn't the look of someone greeting a friend. It was something somewhere between the two.

Something dangerous.

Something almost magnetic.

Fallon stopped several feet away. She knew Jazmin. Better than almost anyone alive. And that was precisely why she didn't make the mistake of assuming anything. If Jazmin had wanted to attack her, Fallon would have been ready. If Jazmin had wanted to embrace her, Fallon would have been ready. If Jazmin wanted to do something neither of them could explain—Fallon would deal with that too.

Mercedes, however, didn't have that history. Mercedes only saw an opportunity. She stepped closer to Jazmin.

"Do it." Jazmin didn't look at her. Mercedes frowned.

She pointed toward Fallon.

"Come on."

Still nothing.

Fallon's eyes flicked toward Mercedes.

Mercedes stepped closer again. "She doesn't deserve that title."

Jazmin's eyes remained on Fallon.

Mercedes gestured toward the champion.

"Look at her." Jazmin did. Fallon's expression remained unreadable.

Mercedes mistook the silence for hesitation.

"You know what she did."

Jazmin's jaw tightened.

Mercedes smiled.

"Two years away and you come back to this?"

She stepped beside Jazmin.

"Take it from her. She clearly forgot all about Pink Venom." Nothing.

Mercedes became irritated.

She pointed directly at Fallon.

"Hit her."

Jazmin's eyes finally moved.

Not toward Fallon.

Toward Mercedes.

Mercedes' smile disappeared.

Jazmin took one slow step forward. Mercedes instinctively backed away. The crowd roared. Jazmin kept coming. Mercedes lifted her hands. "Hey."

Jazmin stopped.

For several seconds, she simply stared at her.

Mercedes attempted to laugh it off. "I said—"

Jazmin moved.

Her hand caught Mercedes by the wrist and yanked her forward before Mercedes could finish the sentence, pulling the challenger directly into a sharp knee to the stomach. Mercedes doubled over on instinct, and Jazmin immediately hooked an arm around the back of her head, dragging her upright just enough to drive her face-first into the canvas. The impact echoed through Wembley, drawing another eruption from the crowd as Mercedes rolled onto her side and clutched at her face.

Jazmin didn't celebrate. She simply followed.

Mercedes tried to crawl away. Jazmin caught her ankle. She pulled her backward. Mercedes kicked wildly, catching Jazmin across the thigh, but Jazmin barely reacted. She released the leg and waited for Mercedes to turn around before catching her with a vicious roundhouse that snapped Mercedes' head to the side.

Mercedes staggered.

Jazmin stepped in.

A forearm caught her across the jaw.

Mercedes stumbled toward the ropes.

Jazmin followed and grabbed her around the waist, using Mercedes' own momentum to drive her backward into the turnbuckles. Mercedes' body bounced against the pads, and Jazmin immediately seized her by the arm, whipping her toward the opposite corner.

Mercedes hit hard.

She staggered forward.

Jazmin was already waiting.

A running knee smashed into Mercedes' chest.

Mercedes crumpled.

Tony Schiavone: "JAZMIN GENESIS IS DESTROYING MERCEDES MONÉ!"

Excalibur: "SHE WAS NEVER HERE FOR FALLON! MERCEDES HAS JUST WALKED DIRECTLY INTO THE WRONG

FIGHT!"

Taz: "She thought Jazmin was her backup!"

Jazmin grabbed Mercedes by the hair and pulled her upright.

Mercedes swung blindly.

Jazmin ducked underneath it.

Mercedes turned.

Jazmin caught her around the waist.

Mercedes immediately realized what was coming.

She hammered down across Jazmin's back, trying to break the grip.

Jazmin held on.

She shifted her footing.

Then lifted. Mercedes' legs left the canvas.

Jazmin drove her down with a powerful Uranage, planting Mercedes hard across the center of the ring.

The challenger bounced once before rolling onto her back. Jazmin stood over her. Mercedes looked up. For the first time, there was genuine fear in her eyes. Jazmin crouched. She grabbed Mercedes by the wrist and pulled her into a standing position. Mercedes tried pleading.

Jazmin didn't answer. She simply drove another forearm across her face before sprinting across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and floating over her frame, Veneno Rosado. Mercedes collapsed backward.

The crowd was going insane.

Jazmin rose. She looked toward the referee. Still down. Then toward Fallon. Fallon hadn't moved. She was still watching. Still prepared. Still protecting her injured arm. And Jazmin looked at her for several long seconds.

The message was impossible to decipher. But Fallon understood one thing. Jazmin wasn't finished because she was angry at Mercedes. She was finished because she had accomplished exactly what she came here to accomplish. She had removed the threat. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Jazmin stepped over Mercedes.

She rolled to the outside where the fallen official laid and crouched beside him.

She grabbed the official by the shoulder and shook him once.

Nothing.

She shook him again.

The referee groaned.

Jazmin grabbed the back of his shirt and dragged him toward the ropes before rolling him underneath them and back into the ring.

The official slowly began crawling.

Fallon watched.

Mercedes remained down.

Jazmin stood.

She stepped between the ropes.

Then stopped.

Before leaving, she turned around. Fallon was still there. The champion stared at her. Jazmin stared back. Neither woman smiled. Neither woman spoke. Jazmin finally stepped onto the floor. She began walking backward toward the ramp. Fallon's eyes followed her. The crowd continued roaring. Jazmin kept walking. One step. Then another. Her expression never changed. She reached the bottom of the ramp. Stopped. And looked back one final time. Fallon was standing in the ring. The championship was still around her waist.

"HERE IS YOUR WINNER... AND STILLLLLL AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONNNNNN... FALLONNNNNN SIIIIIIIINCLAIRRRRRRR!"

Mercedes was still down. The referee was still trying to regain his senses. And Jazmin Genesis was staring directly at the woman she'd called her best friend for more than a decade.

Fallon tightened her grip on the championship.

Jazmin tilted her head slightly.

A tiny movement.

Barely noticeable.

Then she turned away.

The crowd erupted again as Jazmin walked up the ramp and disappeared behind the curtain.

Tony Schiavone: "Jazmin Genesis has returned to AEW!"

Excalibur: "After two years! Two years away, and she comes back at Wembley Stadium, takes Mercedes Moné apart, and walks away without saying a single word!"

Taz: "And that's the problem."

Schiavone: "What's the problem?"

Taz: "She didn't touch Fallon."

Excalibur: "Exactly."

Taz: "But she didn't save her either."

The camera cut to Fallon.

She stood alone in the center of the ring, exhausted and battered, her injured arm held close to her body as the referee finally began to pull himself upright. Her eyes remained fixed on the entranceway. On the place Jazmin had disappeared. Fallon had survived Mercedes. She had survived Divine Dominion. She had survived everything that had been thrown at her.

But somehow, standing there beneath the lights of Wembley Stadium with her championship still around her waist, the thing that seemed to have shaken her most wasn't Mercedes.

It wasn't the injury. It wasn't the attack. It wasn't even the possibility of losing her title.

It was the woman who had walked into the ring after two years away, looked her directly in the eyes, dismantled the person trying to take the championship from her, and left without explaining why.

Because Fallon knew Jazmin. She knew that look. She knew that silence.

And somewhere deep down, beneath the exhaustion and pain, one terrifying realization had begun to settle in.

Jazmin Genesis hadn't come back to AEW by accident.

She had come back for something.

And whatever that something was—Fallon Sinclair had just become part of it.
