Remember the movie

Back to the Future ?

 

Doc Brown invents

a Time Machine

in a converted

Electric Delorean,

which runs on

Nuclear power ...

 

Nikola Tesla

Converted a

Pierce Arrow Sedan,

and ran it with

a high rpm 

Alternating Current Motor.

 

He powered the 80 hp motor

with an invented device.

He claimed that he had

worked over 20 years

to find a way to harnass

Cosmic Rays, which are

omnipresent in the environment

even in the vacuum of space.

 

He drove his converted car

at 90 miles an hour, from

New York City to Buffalo, NY.

 

All powered by a little box

24" x 12" x 6",

filled with

12 commercially available

Vaccum Tubes (1931)

 

The box had 2 metal rods,

and high frequency Cosmic

Ray power was drawn from

them to power the vehicle.

 

If you look at

Back to the Future 3,

Marty crashes the time-car

into 1885, where Doc Brown

rebuilds the Time Circuits

with a box full of vacuum tubes.

 

Tesla said that this new

form of electricity that he

discovered, could affect

 

the flow of TIME..
