I learned the short form of Tai Chi of 37 movements and practiced it for about a year and a half with instructor Mario Topolšek until he left for the Czech Republic, and considering that his assistant Slavica did not continue to run the club after he left, I continued to practice the form myself, which is not the best solution at the initial stage of learning Tai Chi.
About a year after that, I was be seriously attacked by a psychokinetic energy vampire without any understanding of what it was and in the unconscious struggle for life, I completely forgot about Tai Chi. To save myself from some evil force that was sucking my life, I started attending Ljubisha's spiritual seminars on healing and development and during the meditation, during this healing process, I did not have enough will and concentration to practice Tai Chi either. But years later, I sometimes felt the need to do a form of Tai Chi, but never for more than a couple of weeks or 1-2 months because meditation, twelve hour work and Tai Chi were too many things to do at the same time.
In addition, I felt a certain energetic disconnect between the Soul Meditation and Tai Chi, perhaps because practicing the Tai Chi form after two months had greatly strengthened my Life Body, bringing it to the energetic functionality of a 25 year old, which somewhat weakened the effects of the meditation. However, as the energy bodies/auric layers and chakras were purified, healed and calmed, Tai Chi became more and more consonant with the meditation in terms of energy.
Whether the channeling text you just read is an announcement of more serious Tai Chi exercises or just situational help (I am writing this channeling from the Sekovce deportation custody in Slovakia), so we will see what happens, and if you meditate and feel a certain interest in Tai Chi, it might not be a bad idea to learn the form, in case you ever need it.
From the perspective of someone who is new to the practice of the recreational and health form of Tai Chi (only 3 years), without learning how to turn the stick, pushing hands and practice the combat application of each position separately, we will present several observations that may be useful during the study of the tai chi form.
1. In Tai Chi, the transition from the musculo-skeletal physical posture to the tendon-muscle posture is very important, which is achieved by bringing the acupuncture point of the sole of the "Yong Quan", the Lower Dantian and the Crown Chakra into one vertical line, taking a static "playing the harp" posture, moving and lowering the hips to a position that will align the Lower Dantian vertically with the other two points. Then the knee of your supporting ("full") leg will be 10-15 centimeters in front of the toes of the supporting leg, and since the entire weight of the body is in this position, mainly on the tendons of the supporting leg, do not remain in the position for more than 4-5 seconds, already change the supporting leg.
In addition to the static posture mentioned, you will practice aligning the three points while learning the basic steps of Tai Chi, and if I miraculously get a cell phone, I will post a recording of the posture described and do the form.
2. Aligning the three mentioned points, practicing the basic step, the individual movements and performing the form, when you practice on your own, always work with a cup with tray of water (or tea ) on the top of your head, because it is an exceptional aid, which gradually aligns the three mentioned points in a vertical line, develops coordination and gradualness in the transitions between movements, teaches you to work slowly, gently opens the occipital bone, keeps the spine, neck and head in an upright position, gently but steadily activates the Parietal/Crown Chakra, subconsciously directing your attention, so, that the cup does not slip off the top and the water does not spill over the edge of the glass ... and does many other useful things.
I have had the opportunity to use the cup with tray as an aid while learning the form through insight when I was practicing Tai Chi on my own, and rest assured that during learning period of tai chi form, practicing without it, is like driving a car in pitch darkness with the headlights off.
The cup and tray can be made of tea or black coffee, and if you have the opportunity, please buy a new one (if it is sold individually) or, if you are using a used one, set it aside for this purpose only. I mean, snatching a coffee cup out of your guests' hands because your tai chi practicing-time has just started, is not going to make you popular in your neighborhood. If you don't have a proper ceramic cup, a regular aluminum juice can with 4-5 centimeters of water in it, is a great substitute.
Many people (including me) have a non-flat top of the head, it is already like a roof on both sides, so a tray with a cup full of water will slide off the top of the head in ne side, so in this case, place a piece of soft cloth wrapped in a circle, on which you place the tray with the cup.
When you finish the exercise, if you feel the need, drink some or all of the water/tea from the cup, because by activating the Parietal chakra, the energies of the Spiritual Plane are recorded in the memory of the water and are transferred to the Life Body during drinking.
3. By the term "Tai Chi form" we mean performing both, the right and left form (with a pause of about 10-15 seconds between them), where you can change the order of performance according to how you feel you should do it. Performing the left form may seem difficult to many practitioners, but it is much easier than it seems at first glance. Admittedly, performing the left form after a month or two of practice, will not be similar to performing the right form, but it will be pretty close, which in any case depends entirely on you.
By not practicing both forms, left and right, you greatly weaken the effect of Tai Chi.
4. During the entire execution of the Tai Chi form, the head is static and directed straight towards the body, while the eyes follow the movements of the palms during the execution of the form or the legs (during the kick). These eye movements have an extremely beneficial psycho-emotional effect, since they initiate the process of recapitulation, which occurs spontaneously during the deep sleep phase.
A psychotherapeutic technique that mimics the eye movements that occur during deep sleep, is called EMDR.
5. A very important element of Tai Chi practice is the correct step during the execution of the form, which means that you do not use a "step" as in normal walking, but the movements of the legs are gliding and glued to the ground (except for the kick), semi-circular and to a lesser extent straight. The gliding and semi-circular steps, in addition to providing additional stability and connection to the ground, in some situacion can serve to "clear" the attacker's legs during the close combat application of Taijiquan, thereby preventing him from approaching you and striking you in the body.
6. Perform sitting legs-streaching 🖼️ as a easy of relaxation the musculs of legs that easy energy to flows of the legs, you can do it independently of tai chi or before performing the Tai Chi, average 2-3 series, as you like to perform them, since it is not about building muscles, but about make easy the flow of energy in accordance with the principles of spirituality: spontaneously, pleasantly, gradually.
7. Tai Chi is practiced in a relaxed and non-forceful manner, but due to unconscious muscle blockages caused by stress, as a beginner you may have problems performing movements harmoniously and smoothly, but this muscle stiffness will disappear after 5-6 training sessions.
8. In the Yang style, the form is performed in a relaxed and soft manner, with the speed of movement being the same throughout the form.
However, this is not a law that you must perform the form (unless the instructor insists on it, in which case do not tell him that I advised you to), but the final result caused by the harmonization and calming of all parts of your being after decades of training. Until you reach this state, it is better to perform the movements of the form at different speeds according to how you feel at that moment or the movement, in the psycho-emotional-energetic sense, than to do it dead, rigid and controlled, so that the movement exercise is uniform.
9. Tai Chi is practiced in a relaxed and non-forceful manner, but because of the transition from a musculo-skeletal posture to a tendon-muscle posture, you will feel very tired in your legs after the session. As you progress in learning the form, your legs will become stronger, and by the time you get home, try the Fetal Breathing posture, which will quickly restore your legs and pelvic area.
10. Tai Chi is based on the principle of Yin-Yang opposition, so, after a certain time you could spontaneously feel the need to do the form fast and hard, than usual you do. Doing it softly activates the energy flows of your body, so doing it fast and hard, is a way for you to see how far you have come in your practice.
During practice the form, do not control it with willpower, because in this way you activate the Ego and interrupt the natural flow of energy. You will achieve slowness and gentleness by doing the form with a cup full of water on the top of your head and following your palms with your eyes (a relaxed gaze).
We have already explained about the cup, while the essence of following the palms with the gaze (the back side of palm or the fingers, depending on what is in your focus) is that where your gaze is directed, your consciousness is.
By following your palms/fingers with your eyes while doing the form, one part of your consciousness moves from one palm to the other, and as this process is repeated over and over again, it helps clear the channels of obstacles and blocks. In this way, you cleanse and activate the energy flows of your hands.
Please note that during the process described you do not use visualization (imagining energy balls, energy flow, etc.), because by doing so you activate the Mental Ego, interrupt the natural flow of spiritual energies and enter the field of magic.
11. While performing the Tai Chi form, do not control or coordinate the exhalation-inhalation with the forward-backward movements, but allow your breathing to flow spontaneously.
12. Also, do not concentrate on the Lower Dantian (or Spiritual Heart), otherwise the positive effects of Tai Chi will be insignificant. The Life Source energetic point from navel region, is activated (not is obviously) spontaneously and gradually after the activation of the energy flows of the legs by practicing non-Ego type if meditation, sending a request addressed to Mother Gaia, and more generally, by engaging in spiritual development.
13. Having established vertical alignment of the Yong Quan points on the feet, Lower Tan Tein and Parietal/Crown chakra, you switch to using the muscle-tendon connection, whereby both knees (equal weight on both feet) or the knee of the "full" leg (one foot "full", the other "empty") are 5-10-15 centimeters in front of the toes of the "full" feet.
Unlike the previous image, which refers to the movement (the relationship of the knee to the toes) during the execution of a Tai Chi form, when a certain movement is in the final stage of impact, as shown in the image, the knee should not cross the vertical line relative to the toes of the foot, because in this case you will lose your balance.
Because these two features have not been explained to Tai Chi practitioners, many of them adhere to only this second rule, resulting in the center of gravity of their body being located in the area of the heels of the foot and manifested through a rigid connection: the musculoskeletal system.
Finally, it should be noted that you do not need to practice Tai Chi with the goal of achieving something: rejuvenation, becoming a Tai Chi instructor, or achieving Enlightenment (although some of the above motives would be reasons to start practice Tai Chi), because the goal will prevent you from relaxing on all three levels of your being. Allow the form of Tai Chi to guide you from movement to movement, and as the energy flows spontaneously activate, all goals will disappear in contact with the timeless Tao.
