Cubase 15.0.10 - What’s new?

January 27, 2026 – The Cubase 15.0.10 maintenance update is now available. The update introduces many fixes and enhancements in several areas of the application. Additionally, resizing of the HALion Sonic plug-in window in Cubase is supported when HALion Sonic is updated to version 7.1.50.

Pattern Editor

Patterns now automatically inherit chords from the Chord Input. This applies when creating new patterns and when creating new MIDI tracks for which the Event Type is set to Pattern Event, keeping harmonic context consistent from the start.
Pattern Events now include a dedicated Pattern field on the info line, letting you quickly switch the active Pattern for the selected event without opening additional editors.
A new Auto Scroll mode (page scroll) is available in the Pattern Editor toolbar, making it easier to follow playback while editing longer patterns.
The Show Only Lanes with Steps filter is now retained when using the Randomizer or Variations, so your lane visibility stays exactly as you set it.
In Drum Mode, you can now reverse the order of drum sounds. The control is located at the top of the step lane list, which is especially handy when adapting layouts to different drum maps or workflows.

Hub Window

A new option is available in the Hub Settings dialog that displays the Default Location and Project Folder Name directly on the Projects page for quicker access.
If Use Default Location was not previously enabled, you can activate it directly by clicking the folder icon.

Score Editor

Dynamics can now be placed independently on both staves of grand staff instruments, giving you proper control over piano-style notation.
An issue where multiple Dynamics could appear duplicated during editing has been resolved.
Tremolo articulations coming from Expression Maps are now displayed correctly in the score and no longer appear as staccato dots.
The Symbols tab now displays symbol names using the current interface language.
Hiding explicit tuplets now also hides the associated tuplet bracket, resulting in cleaner notation.
Notes in certain chords are now displayed with the correct duration when Display Quantize is used at specific rhythmic positions.

Dorico and MusicXML Import
> Gradual tempo changes now import correctly from Dorico and MusicXML files.
> Beat groupings are preserved across barlines and no longer change unexpectedly on import.
Tempos are no longer doubled when importing Dorico projects that contain gradual tempo changes.
Display Quantize no longer causes incorrect note lengths in imported projects.

Miscellaneous

MIDI Remote mappings are no longer lost when saving a project while the MIDI controller is disconnected.
Audio events are now automatically reselected after editing volume curves with the Draw tool.
The Select All Events command is available again in the context menu of automation lanes.
The mouse cursor now correctly switches back after copy operations using the ALT/Option modifier.
Audible artefacts when using Modulators on Track Volume with ASIO-Guard Level set to Normal have been resolved.
Copying and pasting EQ settings now immediately activates the EQ on the destination channel, just as expected.
Creating Warp Markers from Hitpoints now works correctly for audio events inside audio parts.
Reliability issues with Nektar Impact LX series MIDI controllers have been fixed.
Projects now correctly recall all settings of the Transformer MIDI plug-in when loading.
When deleting projects from the Hub, files are now safely moved to the operating system's bin instead of being permanently removed.
Adding a new articulation to a note event now properly replaces other articulations in the same group.
Expression Map sound slots now continue switching correctly after receiving remote trigger events.
Step handling in Melodic Mode with Poly voices has been refined when using Variation and Density.
Routing multiple channels to another destination now works reliably when using modifier keys.
Text truncation issues in various pop-up panels, such as Record Modes, have been fixed.
Selecting a Process via the search field and creating a new version no longer causes instability.
Changing accents in click patterns now works reliably.
The key command Edit VST Instrument is working again for sampler and drum tracks.
MIDI CC data and automation data now display with improved contrast, adapting better to different editor background colors.
Focus indicators for editor zones have been improved, making it easier to see which zone is active.
MIDI tracks can now be selected correctly via the Find Tracks and Find Track/Channel panels.
Logical Editor presets are working again as intended.
Articulations assigned to note events shortly before a cycle jump are now played correctly.
Entered values in the MIDI Modifier section of the Inspector are now consistently accepted.
Transport Rewind and Forward operations no longer cause hanging notes when key switches are involved.
