The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe

on February 17th, as a 50 cent

Used Book.

 

The "Right Stuff" refers to

a quality that a TOP Pilot had.

 

Some were WWII fighter pilots,

Most were test pilots for

early Supersonic craft.

 

The Right Stuff was an inexpressible quality that

led pilots to make successful

decisions in split second

fly or die situations.

 

The book follows the Mercury

Program Astronauts, in 

terrific detail.

 

It's especially interesting in 2024

with a new Manned Space Race,

and...

a new Cold War.
