You must have realized by now, dear spiritual seekers, that one of the greatest obstacles to the development of consciousness is your Ego. The Ego is the enemy of every advanced spiritual seeker, because its activities deliberately destroy and hinder all your attempts to continue the process of developing consciousness through the activities of a wide range of interests. This means that the development of consciousness takes place in all areas of your activity, and the area of thinking activity is especially important.
By developing your consciousness in this field of activity, dear spiritual seekers, you can reach a very high level of development of consciousness without even thinking about meditation. You will need meditation when you feel that you have reached the maximum development that the mental field of activity can give you. Then, by practicing some kind of non-Ego meditation, you will transform and enrich your consciousness with the vibrations of the Spiritual Plane. After that, the field of development of your consciousness becomes limitless and depends solely on the areas of interest that attract your attention.
But to reach the stage of meditation and the development of spiritual consciousness, you must first overcome all the traps and tricks that your Ego sets before you to hinder you in the process of developing consciousness. Many who read the previous sentence may think that this is some kind of exaggeration, but rest assured, dear spiritual seekers, that it only hints at the activities that your Ego carries out to keep you under its control.
The Ego is a consciousness that, unlike us - the Developmental Consciousnesses of the Souls, does not have the ability to develop consciousness without limit and does not have an unlimited source of life energies, like us. For this reason, from the fourth year of life, the "patches" of the Ego from the twelve layers of the aura reach the level of self-consciousness, after which it - the Ego, begins the process of identifying, controlling and stimulating impulses that spontaneously arise in person. Stimulating these impulses at its own discretion, the Ego provides itself with the energies necessary for survival, focusing on strengthening and increasing the amount of his energies "patches". For this reason, people who have succumbed to the guidance of their Ego, can be characterized as "energy vampires".
The topic of the influence of the Ego on the consciousness of the Children of Earth is quite broad, but it seems to us that for now this channeling is enough to make you think and try to figure out how your Egos hinder the development of your consciousness. If you succeed, you will make a big step towards the phase of development of spiritual consciousness.
