Intercept ("the app", "we", "us") is a flight and aircraft tracking app for aviation enthusiasts. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

Intercept is designed to work without you creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or password to use the app.

Location: With your permission, the app uses your device location to center the live radar map on your position and to calculate the distance, bearing and estimated time of aircraft relative to you. Your location is used on your device to display nearby aircraft and is not sold or shared by us. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device settings; the app will then fall back to a default map view.
App Preferences: Settings such as your selected radar mode, watchlist and alert preferences are stored locally on your device.

Aircraft Data

Live aircraft positions are obtained from publicly available ADS-B / OpenSky network data sources. Availability and accuracy of this data varies by region and is provided as is.

Advertising

The free version of Intercept displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may access a device advertising identifier and related device information. On iOS, personalized advertising is only used if you grant permission through Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can purchase the one-time Remove Ads option to disable advertising entirely. For details on how Google uses data, see Google advertising policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads .

Purchases

The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Children

Intercept is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

Manage or revoke location permission in your device settings.
Manage advertising / tracking permission in your device settings.
Remove ads via the in-app one-time purchase.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last updated date above.
