75. Materialism, Religiousness, Reasonableness, Spirituality

International relations in the world are so complex that it is simply impossible for an average inhabitant of this planet to manage them, so in this text we will try to clarify the situation a little.

Materialism is an immersion, and we can freely say, an obsession with the phenomena of the material world, which makes a person lose interest in other forms of manifested reality. Materialism is not just an obsession with the possession of money, property, luxury items..., but also enjoying food, drink, sexuality and the like.

Religiosity as a way of understanding the world minimizes the role of man, where he is reduced to a simple worshiper of a certain religious teaching. Faith in gods who control their lives (and are often malicious towards them) is the core of any religion, the teaching of which is passed down from generation to generation by a caste of priests. Having declared themselves to be representatives of the gods, they took the position of mediator between them and the believers, abusing this position for the purpose of personal enrichment, conquest of planetary power, and other types of abuse.

Reasonableness  is a vision of life that diverts attention from the gods and higher powers to man, whom he perceives as the sum of genetic inheritance, education, knowledge and skills that he was able to develop and adopt throughout his life. As a result, there was rapid development in all areas, especially in science, technology and education, which significantly improved the quality of life of humanity compared to the previous era.

Spirituality is in some ways an improvement of the rational phase, because it takes another step forward in understanding the world and the reality around us. What the rational, due to the lack of sufficiently sensitive instruments, cannot understand and explain, spirituality can use a universal instrument: consciousness, because the consciousness of each of us is the most perfect instrument ever created, but only when it is freed from the Ego. After connecting with the Soul, all the blockages and prohibitions that are consciously, unconsciously or involuntarily introduced into the structure of your Ego from meditation to meditation will disappear, freeing your consciousness to understand the Universe.

Having learned about the world through spirituality, you will experience a much broader reality than that described by the mind, and a much more logical and calm view of the "higher powers" that religions talk about. Unlike religions that preach complete obedience to gods and priests, spirituality supports rationality, which emphasizes that man is the smith of his own happiness and Free Will, because only a person whose Free Will and logic are highly developed can indulge the guidance of his Soul, since this is a transition from the Mental to the Spiritual plane.

If he is obedient to priests and afraid of religious punishments, then in terms of development he is still on the Emotional plane, from which it is impossible to enter to the Spiritual plane. That is why spirituality is safe, safe in the sense that it is protected from religious fanaticism, because if you fail to experience something spiritually through Direct Experience, you will experience it logically.

As things stand now, there is a conflict in the world between these representatives, but whose sides are not clearly separated, because those states that are the main defenders of rationality are at the same time under influence of priests, no matter how illogical it may sound. In the struggle to maintain the power that has been in the hands of religions for the last 7,000 years, the priests have apparently accepted the rationalistic-humanistic vision and order of society, but by creating hundreds, even thousands of secret societies and introducing fanatical believers at all levels of state power into them, they rule in order to maintain their position in society, and now we have the paradoxical situation that in the 21st century religions have become more powerful, than they were a few centuries ago.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that we live in the age of reason and science, the consciousness of most of humanity has not changed from the religious, while those who have accepted reason and logic as a model for their lives have been deprived of the reality that cannot be experienced in this way. Just as reason (the Mental Ego) is a renewal of religiosity (the emotional Ego), spirituality (the process of eliminating the Ego) is a renewal of reason and does not force anyone to anything, leaving everyone the opportunity to accept or reject something, with full understanding and respect for the level of consciousness you are currently in.

Frankly, a Spiritualist can do little for you: explain to you the basic assumptions of the process of developing spiritual consciousness and the structure of the energy system and consciousness, he can heal you from emotional trauma and help you connect with your own Soul. Everything else, when we talk about spirituality, is up to you. Depending on how you have experienced contact with the Soul, how successfully you have recognized the impulses it sends you, and whether you are ready to change in accordance with them, this will be your spiritual progress. You recognize that otherwise it would be unfair, because no matter how much someone wishes you well, except you, no one else can follow your path.
