Slot earnings fall at Foxwood resort casino in August

Foxwood Resort Casino is reporting $30.8 million in slot revenue for the month of August 2021. This would result in a direct payment of $7.7 million to the state of Connecticut under a long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement from the Matthew & Tucket Pequot Tribal States. The Matthew & Tucket Pequot Tribal States has deposited more than $4.4 billion of Foxwood's slot revenue directly into the state budget fund since 1993.

August kicked off with Foxwood's first annual cocktail carnival on Aug. 7. This experience event moved guests under the Big Top to a delightful carnival environment, with imaginative cocktails, spirits-drinking, fire-breathers and stilt walkers stunning the senses. The successful cocktail carnival event once again proved Foxwood's commitment to providing guests with a unique and sensuous experience year-round.

On Aug. 28-29, Foxwood and the Marshantucket Pequot Tribal Nation celebrated Schemitzun, an annual festival of green corn and dance. The two-day event, which celebrates the 2021 harvest season, included a family-friendly live demonstration of traditional Pequot practices, including fire brigade cooking, making wimp and fish nets, and making loom beads work, baskets, and more. Traditional and modern tribal dance exhibitions, drums, and of course, traditional Native American festivals welcomed guests of all kinds to celebrate the bounty of the season.

In August, Foxwood excitedly announced the launch of the Bubble Rainbow Suite, Foxwood's vibrant and interactive suite designed to celebrate diversity, equality, and advocate for LGBTQ+ communities and culture. A modern and refreshing celebration of love, acceptance, and progress, the suite features interactive installations including Instagram Ready Magic Mirror, a custom centerpiece rainbow sofa that embodies the signature smile of LGBTQ+ artists' art and bubble, an in-sweet bubble bar made from an iconic bubble can, and a selfie-worthy light-up rainbow wall.   파워볼사이트 추천

In September, Foxwood partnered with DraftKings to launch Connecticut's first sports betting bar. They announced a two-day hiring date for Foxwood on Sept. 8 and 14 to hire for positions including restaurant managers, servers, hosts, bartenders, chefs, and more.

There's also Foxwoods Drag Binglo - a night full of shining bingo, a great drag queen host, and a high-energy hit with a DJ spinning - in September. Hosted by local Connecticut drag superstar Loosey LaDuca, Drag Binglo promises attendees more than $30,000 in cash and the chance to win prizes such as concert tickets, surprise prizes, and more. The drag Binglo begins on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.

There's always something to do at Foxwoods, and this fall is no exception. Foxwoods Night Out At The Drive-In - September shows include E.T. on Sept. 19, The Incredibles on Sept. 24, Beetlejuice on Sept. 25, and Brave on Sept. 26.
