Airport Ground Staff Training

As the Indian economy continues to flourish, the need for enhanced infrastructure in airports, railways, roads, and water transport is increasing. The number of airports has expanded from 74 in 2014 to 148 in 2023, with projections indicating a rise to 250 by 2030. This growth has created a substantial demand for airport ground staff and airline crews to fill workforce gaps, particularly in ground operations.

Ground staff are essential in various areas within airports, including check-in counters, baggage handling, information desks, hospitality services, and ticketing.

To be eligible for a ground staff position with any airline, candidates must complete a six-month certification course. This program provides them with the necessary skills to comprehend customer needs and the expectations of airport authorities and airlines, effectively bridging the gap between the two. Upon completion, graduates are well-prepared for roles at information counters, reservation desks, security checks, and luggage handling.
