Hanwha had its first spring camp in Melbourne, Australia from March 1 to 20. After moving to Okinawa, Japan, the two teams failed to win in practice games against Hanshin Tigers (5-9) and Samsung Lions (5-5 draw), but they gained momentum by winning on the day. Hanwha, which will face Lotte Giants on March 2, will return to Korea on March 4 with a practice game against KT on March 3.

Along with pitcher Kim Min-woo, Jung Eun-won (left fielder), Jonathan Peraza (right fielder), An Chi-hong (designated hitter), Noh Si-hwan (third baseman), Chae Eun-sung (first baseman), Moon Hyun-bin (second baseman), Lee Jin-young (middle fielder), Ha Joo-seok (striker), and Choi Jae-hoon (catcher) were listed in the starting lineup.

Against this backdrop, KT has formed a lineup of batters: Bae Jeong-dae (center fielder), Kim Min-hyuk (left fielder), Mel Rojas Jr. (right fielder), Park Byeong-ho (first baseman), Jang Seong-woo (batter), Hwang Jae-gyun (third baseman), Moon Sang-cheol (designated hitter), Jang Joon-won (striker), and Cheon Seong-ho (second baseman). Wes Benjamin is the starting pitcher.

Hanwha took the lead. Jung Eun-won, the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the first inning, hit a double to the right side of the right field, and settled down on the third base thanks to the opponent's wild pitch. Peraza then swung and missed, but An Chi-hong gave Hanwha the first run by sending a sacrifice fly to the left field.

KT was also not watching. When Chun Sung-ho hit a double to right-center field with one out in the top of the third inning, Bae Jung-dae hit a timely hit. However, with runners on the first and second bases with one out, LOHAS and Park Byung-ho failed to come from behind by striking out the first and second bases with one out, which led to Kim Min-hyuk's hit to left.

After overcoming the crisis of mass loss, Hanwha took the lead by turning the bottom of the third inning into a big inning. With runners on the first and third bases with one out, Roh Si-hwan and Chae Eun-sung hit a timely hit to the right and one RBI, respectively, with runners on the first and third bases with one out following Jung Eun-won's hit to the center field and Peraza's grounder to the second base. With runners on the second and third bases with one out, Moon Hyun-bin hit a hit that passed between the first and second bases with one out. KT's right fielder Rojas threw the ball backward, and Moon Hyun-bin drove home. 6-1.

Hanwha, which gained momentum, widened the gap in runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Moon Hyun-bin hit a timely hit to the right field with one out and runners on the first and second bases, which were connected by An Chi-hong's infield hit and Chae Eun-sung's hit to the right field. With the bases loaded with two outs, which led to Lee Jin-young's strikeout and Ha Joo-seok's walk, Choi Jae-hoon and Jung Eun-won hit a timely hit to the middle and two RBIs, respectively.

In a hurry, KT started its chase in the top of the fifth inning. The runner on the third base scored while Jung Yi-hwang of the Hanwha Eagles committed a wild pitch with two outs and a double play by Kang Baek-ho.

However, Hanwha resumed its scoring streak in the bottom of the sixth inning and did not let the flow go. Lee Do-yoon had a hit to the middle ground and opened the door. Lee Jae-won then hit a grounder toward the third baseman, when KT's infielders made an error in throwing, connecting the first and third bases with no outs. Since then, Choi In-ho only hit a double play, but in the meantime, the third baseman homered.

Hanwha, which was aiming for a chance to spy on Hoshi, made another big inning in the bottom of the seventh inning, effectively determining the game. When Hwang Young-mook drew a walk, Kim Tae-yeon hit a timely double in the middle of a big RBI toward the center fence. With the bases loaded with one out, which led to Kim Kang-min's throw and Lee Do-yoon's walk, Lee Jae-won hit a timely RBI single to the left, and Lee Sang-hyuk hit a timely two-run timely hit in the bases loaded with two outs, which continued with Choi In-ho's infield fly.

KT, who was on fire, tried to fight back for the rest of the inning, but no further news of the score was heard. So the game ended with Hanwha's great victory.

Meanwhile, Korean Monster Ryu Hyun-jin, who joined Hanwha's camp on Wednesday to throw a bullpen session, conducted a light training session with his team on Wednesday. He is scheduled to pitch live on March 1 with a batter standing at the batter's box.
