The Egoland

"Welcome, this is Egoland, and for the next 70 years you will be its guest. Arm yourself well and enjoy!"

Such an inscription could stand above the entrance to a maternity hospital.

Egoland is a creation of all of us.

"No, it's impossible. If I were asked, the world would be a much better place to live," you say.

You are asked, of course. Each of the 6,500,000,000 people is responsible for the world being the way it is: full of pain, hatred, suffering, abuse, poverty, disease, violence and death. The small amount of kindness and love that each of us will give sparingly and will always present for payment in the same or another return favor is what allows this planet to continue to be where it is.

It is not surprising that there is so much crime, murder, misfortune and war, the miracle is that there are not dozens of times more of them, because each of us is a potential walking bomb, filled with unfulfilled dreams, inflicted insults, experienced torment, lost future. We hobble around this long-suffering planet, running away from the pain that we carry on our shoulders, looking for consolation and meaning in life often in meaningless things. When we collide with each other, it is always easier for us if the other person feels a little more pain and misfortune than we do.

Then it's as if something stirs within us, as if a new source of power opens up that wakes us from our previous slumber and says, "Hey, come back. Come back and hit him again. Harder this time".

And we will actually do that. We will hit him or her a little harder than the first (accidental) time, and it will start to work, we will feel much better. The sparkle in our eyes will return, our walk will become firmer, our voice will become deeper. We will no longer bow, or give in to others, or apologize when we push someone. Why doesn't he look where he is going.

This time we learned our lesson better: outside of this life that flows and into which we have been thrown, nothing else exists. No gods, no angels, no devils, no rewards, no punishments… nothing. The world is what it is: an arena filled with gladiators who pounce on each other at every opportunity.

In general, it is scientifically proven that only the most capable survive and continue the species. Natural selection is harsh; if our fangs are worn down and our claws are dull, we become prey.

So the more we steal and grab, the better off we will be, and everyone will value us more because we are more capable. To show this, we build houses with an abundance of bathrooms and bedrooms, jacuzzis, gyms, garages, swimming pools, private zoos and all that confirms and emphasizes our own strength and feeds the envy of others.

And as an answer to this, a question posed in the film, which we may never have heard of, emerges from the mud of collective consciousness: “Uncle, is it true that all this bread is yours?”

Yes, but in reality, is all this bread ours?

Have we left anything for the hungry, the abandoned, the poor, the veterans, the refugees, the disabled, the pensioners, the infirm, the sick… for all those whose fangs are worn down and whose claws are dull? Will it be enough for their descendants, who, looking at all this luxury and power, sharpen their fangs and claws and dream of the day when they themselves will enter a home like yours. Or maybe yours.

We can blame others for the situation in the world: secret societies, greedy corporations, corrupt politicians, world bankers, the Mighty Ones and no matter how much truth there is in this, we are still most responsible ourselves.

This planet and the social relations on it are 100 percent ours, and each of the 6,500,000,000 people owns one share. Regardless of your position in the pyramid of world power, regardless of whether you are a beggar or a president, your personal impact on the quality of life of the human species is immeasurable. Take a little time to look deeper into yourself, and you may be surprised at what you find. You have Love, Forgiveness, Compassion, Selflessness, Kindness and much more that can heal your pain and that of your fellow human beings.

However, if you decide to bring them back into your life and thereby change it significantly, it will not be an easy, quick or painless process.

Many, especially those who are close to you, will try to distract you from this, burden you with the Remembrance or even cause you pain, in order to be 100 percent sure that you could not and will never be able to become happier than them in such a simple way. Because your “reasonless” feeling of Love and Happiness brings confusion and devalues everything that they have patiently and painfully built up for decades. By creating your happiness in such an “undeserved” and “easy” way, you unknowingly destroy the foundation on which their own idea of happiness is based: to have as much as possible and to be as powerful as possible.

Don't let them stifle and forbid you Love and all that is good in you. Don't let them bring you down to the level of their own hatred, pain and ignorance, and don't let them force you to become like them, because without your own help, they will never succeed. They can take everything from you: money, career, property, health and even life. But not Love. If you don't renounce it yourself, it will never leave you.

Therefore, let this be your only, correctly placed share, from the income of which, in addition to you, everyone else will benefit.

"Welcome, this is Egoland. For the next 70 years, you will be its guest. Enjoy! "
