As Eddie reached to adjust the blanket, Demona moved off of him to make it easier for him to move. He was trying to keep the mood light, and given the circumstances that surrounded them, it only made sense for them. It wasn't often that they got into serious situations -- at least, not until recently, that is. Between everything that had happened in The Upside Down, her brother's surprise visit, and Al's surprise visit, the two had experienced more than their fair share of heavy moments in recent history. They needed a break, but it seemed fate didn't quite have that in store for them quite yet.

Once Eddie was seated again, Demona moved to lean against him, her legs over his own as she looked up at him. From this angle, she could barely see his eyes in the dark, but that didn't diminish how she saw him in the slightest. His eyes had a slight glow to them, most likely reflected off of one of the objects scattered across the back of her van, but the possibility of them glowing on their own was far from zero, too. It was almost ethereal, in a sense, and allowing the sound of the rain to soundtrack the moment, she reached up to help push his hair from his face.

"If you're so insistent on it, I can still go sit on the other side of the van. Or I could rebraid your hair since it's wet enough to hold the waves when it dries." Her hands then folded together in her lap, the blonde subconsiously twisting her ring around her finger as a smile crossed her lips.

"Your choice, darling.~"
