NXT kicked off with the security footage from two weeks ago of the attack on NXT Women’s Champion, Ella Keibler. The footage showed Ella midway through her workout be blindsided and viciously beaten down by a hooded person. And as the tape came to an end, the live feed would cut to the NXT parking lot where a white Mercedes arrived. Out of the car came the Diamond Dogs; Kelsey Keibler, NXT Women’s North American Champion Kylie Luna, and NXT Women’s Champion Ella Keibler. The trio was even more serious than ever as within seconds of entering the building Kylie and Kelsey grabbed one of the new WWE ID prospects and held her still for the champion to interrogate.
Ella Keibler –
“Not her, she looks like she would cry if she slapped someone… Let her go.”
Kylie, already in a bad mood, grunted angrily before slamming the newcomer against the production crates as they made their way out to the ring. The Blockbuster Blonde was in no mood to waste anymore time, calling for her music to be cut the second she entered the ring and that she was handed a microphone.”
Ella Keibler –
“Two weeks ago… I was supposed to come out here and celebrate that Kylie and Kelsey were about to have the biggest match of their careers and take on Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, but that didn’t happen. Instead, your NXT Women’s Champion was brutally attacked and left unconscious. Not in the ring, not even in the parking lot… I was working out. And I know none of you lazy slobs here know what that means, but I was in the gym minding my own business and next thing I know, I’m in the back of an ambulance. And ever since then, nothing but chaos has happened in this dump. Brawls left and right, Ava’s injured, and it’s only going to get worse from here on out. See I was going to show some patience and wait until some evidence came out before retaliating, but seeing as all control has gone out the window, we’re not waiting any longer–.”
Ella would be cut off and interrupted surprisingly by the NXT Director of Operations, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Already under a lot of stress following the accidental injury to General Manager Ava last week, now he had to try and prevent Ella and The Diamond Dogs from taking out the women’s division.
Shawn Michaels –
“Ella, Kylie, Kelsey… Before any of you do anything stupid, might I remind you Ella, and Kylie that your actions as Champions will be seen by the rest of the locker room, and potentially serve as inspiration? For years this brand has already gotten a bad rap for being unsafe, and now you three are actively declaring that you’re going to attack every woman back there instead making a logical decision? Ella, what would your mother think of this?”
Ella Keibler –
“... I think my mom would want me to feel safe at work, and you and Ava both have done a horrible job at doing that. There’s brawls every week, the parking lot is practically a battleground, and no one has done anything about it. So if you haven’t had a problem with it before, then you shouldn’t have a problem with it now, Kylie, Kelsey… let’s go.”
Shawn Michaels –
“Ella, stop… Your General Manager is out of office for the foreseeable future, the last thing I need is for both of our Women’s Champions and her posse to go rogue and cause any more chaos. Why don’t you three just take the night off while me and the production crew find more information about your attacker.”
Ella Keibler –
“Oh how cute, the degenerate is trying to tell us how to act. Just stay out of our way so you won’t end up like Ava, let’s go girls.”
And before Shawn could even attempt to bargain with Ella, Kylie would snatch the microphone from out of his hand as the three women made their way backstage. There, it was on sight for anyone they ran into. Which unfortunately for Brinley Reece would mean that she was first on the hit list. Brinley was minding her business, walking energetically down the halls before Kylie struck her back with a metal bat. The bat would only serve as a prelude to the onslaught that would come, as Ella and Kelsey joined in with a series of kendo stick strikes until they snapped in half. Security finally managed to barely pull Brinley away, demanding medical treatment immediately as The Diamond Dogs walked away, grins on their faces as they left the building.
